how much you getting at the game dealer for porcupine's, monkey's and lynx's than. -
Lightforce 140 has a 50watt bulb and the lightforce 170 and 240 has 100watt bulbs. 75watt bulbs are available as and extra if you wish to change. i fitted 75watts to all my lamps until i fitted dimmers to them and then i switched back to the 100watt. deben lamps use to be made by lightforce and then sold to deben so dimmers could be fitted and then sold on by deben but they still had the lightforce logo on the side. i haven't spoke to lightforce for a while so i dont know if they are still doing this.

SACS for the last few years. willing to help if you have a problem. £30 covers me, my dogs and not just shooting but fishing as well, all as 3rd party insurance but one never knows when a hook might get someone.hehe.

Top find. Thank you Phil. -
have a look at the u-caller lamps as well. you might be well happy with the price. same distances as the lightforce.
-
clulite. dont use the deben one as its only rated to 50watt. the clulite is 100watt. £30via post

the lightforce scope mount is fine for hand held. once you see your target then it is silent to slip on the scope. with a little playing you can also have a dimmer on it as well that is easy to use.
-
Lightforce dont make a dimmable lamp. they sell lamp to deben who then put dimmers into them, hence the confusion of having a lightforce lamp that dims. u-caller handheld is a copy and the reflector is the same so save money and buy a u-call lamp if you want it hand held. if you want the scope mounted one then you know it stands very high of the scope. the 1mil candle is what the light gives out but its the depth and size of the reflector that give the distance. the 170mm light force says 600 mtr beam but the 240mm, with the same bulb, gives 800 mtr. i bet your clulite is a 100watt bulb as well but as the reflector diameter is only around 100mm it will not through the beam as far. i bought the 170 lightforce and then a dimmer from clulite for £20 and cannibalised the two so they worth together. i can do this for you if need be. ATB Phil.

I was shooting 150+ a time not so long ago with flock coating shells. i thought it would be a good idea to paint the wing bars and necks with white UV. all i got was jinxing birds that would not try to land with in the pattern. all i pulled was squabs, ferals and seagulls. i have repainted and flocked and the birds are coming in again. one of my stupid moments and very quickly learnt lesson.

I have pinwood standard. i have used and made a few in past years but now i will not use anything else. 7amp battery and a very light magnet makes carrying very easy. plus it works in strong wind unlike others that just wipe around then stop then wipe then stop. shoot warehouse do one very similar and im sure it will work just the same but i havent seen or used so cant give a comparison.

chili vodka is another one that will warm any party up

Why all the Math? Go buy/borrow a framing square. screwfix sell them cheap. put truck on flat surface, put square upto the tire and measure with a tape or ruler so the bottom of the rim is 100mm from the framing square. then measure to top of rim. - the 100mm and you have how far the top is in or out. do the same to the other wheel and adjust until square. now you have your tires square to the floor. Simples.

What is the weirdest animal you have seen while in the field?
activeviii replied to 955i's topic in Off Topic
Seen a wallaby many years ago one early morning when off rabbit shooting. fishing the Severn in tewksbury a fer years ago and the seal poked its head up on mid water and then just swam around for 30 mins and then disappeared. out foxing a few weeks ago and there was a glowing bug in the grass. never seen one before in all the years i have been out at night in the fields. it was glowing like a green star light. -
Mono jack plugs like the one Clulite use. all my lamps and adaptors have them now, i even run two in the truck so i dont burn the wiring out on the cigar lighter socket.
