Pinewood extra long, you can get them in 3 piece so they are still short. love my pinewood stuff but with lightness of goods comes lightness of touch, you cant be heavy handed with any of the kit but there is no need to be to tell the truth.

I modded my workmate to take one. worked just fine until i bought a new saw banch with a slot for the router to go.

To me it read that he has sold the guns that he use to use these cartridges in so has no need for them and no way to shot them so he would like to swap them for cartridges that are suitable for pigeons or just sell them so he can go buy differant. I could be wrong as i normally am

gloucestershire is the same, i just scan the paperwork and email it over to them. they lost two letters in the past and as there was no conformation that their department had received the letter i didnt know until i changed my cabinet and they came out to check it. lucky i had the proof of posting and a copy of transfer letter. -
i think i will make a call to see mr spices take on it as i dont want to be one the wrong side of the law. i did have a look around and did find a few companies that sold the adaptors with an off set hole drilled right though. i looked at the turner Richards one but no phone of end so cant see. thanks for that dave all the best Phil

ok so you shoot pigeons it cost your pocket, ok thats a loss as its your 'Hobby' what about buying and running the freezers and the fuel to get the birds to the deal, is that a 'Hobby' as well or is it just the british way that we do as we are told and just put up with it. I shoot pigeons as a pest, ok i have other reasons but they are shot as pests and done as cheap as i can. im not going to throw even more money away to take birds to the dealer, if you wish to then so be it but im not not more.

i dont under stand that to tell the truth.lol. whats the differance between an adaptor and a shotgun cartridge. not hard to open the end with a knife and put pellets or ball bearing in. thrown me a little this one Dave.lol. not hard to do i hear you say.haha. the gases from the blank has to go somewhere, you cant have it coming back at you for the only way to vent it would be farward, even if you side vent it will still come need to come out the front end of the pointy stick. when i made mine i did speak to FLO about it can she had to come back to me about it as she didnt know. same with the moderators. same answer really 'as long as i do not make them for other people and do not sell them on after use then im fine' if i wish to give away then that have to be proofed then put on the firearms register. Phil.

Im not being rude here but you can not show people what to do if things are going wrong buy doing it in video. the only way to help someone with a problem is to see the dog, in person, to see if there is another underlying fault that the own hasnt picked up on. you could end up instilling a new fault. most problems occur by the trainer rushing each stage and not getting every element right before bringing it all together at the end. i think it is dangerous ground telling people how to put things right if they are going wrong. if it was that easy to do then there would be 101 DVD's out there by the top trainers and others, telling us all how too's I did wonder why there wasn't a useful guild on 'when things go wrong' and the more i, think and see, i understand why one hasn't been done. as i said, im not trying to knock you for trying to help, good on ya, but you cant help with out the dog and owner showing you the problem first. Regards Phil.

Latin name is galium aparine. i hate them as it knots my cockers coats real bad. -
Yep i have made a few., very easy to mack if you have access to a lathe. i made two differant types. one to take 22 blanks and on to take hilti blanks as i have a big supply of them. you have reminded me that i nee to go make a pair for the 20g as i no longer have a 12g o/u, i might have to find a cheap single barrel again just for bringing one of the pups on.
-
I get on well with them, always have but yes, the foot plate is rather hard to work with. im just modding mine to take bike spokes. my gosh dosent it lighten them up. Phil.

Im taking about 300 at a time frozen and maybe 100-150 fresh so it can help but in not going to run the freezers and more for less that 2:1 carts are around 15p each so 30p, in my mind, is a fair price. i was getting this last year and now the birds have gone down.lol not having it any more.

stand on the blade works or just do the same as the pigeon ones and fold the stand back and put them on the dirt. i think there is a picture of how to on the underside. Phil.

What the ell is going on?? I have had a steady increase in cartridges over the last year or so, started at around £120 per K and now we are at £150. i try to buy 2K at a time. ok with the lead price rise and fuel we all know prices will go up but whats the crack with the game dealers. last year i was getting 28p frozen and 30p fresh which just about covered the 2:1 shot ratio, didnt cover the running of the freezers or the fuel to take the birds to the dealer. i phoned a few weeks ago with a full freezer or two and was told 25P . your hav'in a laugh. i told him that i wouldn't be taking birds to him no more and it was cheaper to burn the birds. i phoned one of the other dealers only to be told the same. i do now have a good dealer that is offering me the right money but the other two. how the hell do they work that out. every thing goes up but the pigeon price goes down. so how does that work? i and a few of my pigeon shooter friends have now siad that if we dont get the 2:1 cart price for the cheap carts we use then we will be burning the birds as we are shooting the birds as crop control, unpaid so to keep shooting we need the 2:1 is it just me getting my **** out or are others thinking the same way and think the game dealers are trying to pull the wool here and we need to start saying 'fair price for birds' Phil.

I have been using remington's since day one but as i was going to reloading solutions yesterday i thought @ £9.50 a box the is would be worth trying the hornady blue tips. i bought 200 so as soon as this wind drop i can go check them out. i have used 20g and have a zero for them but other than that i havent had a need. Someone swearing in here, Coleys, your having a laugh, I'd rather give my wife the money to go buy a new pair of shoes. shouldn't they have a uniform in that place with :yp: as a hat.

this time of year the birds are not one the field so dont beat yourself up over it just yet. as soon as the wheat and barley start to turn, from green to brown, is the time to start watch more. if dosent even need to be laid, i have had very good days on standing crop with just magnet in tramline. flight lines change all the time, if you have and area the birds want to be on then, with observation, you will see that there is an entry and exit to that feild. if its a high flight line where they are going over to a differant area in the county then try and get under them when it is windy as they will fly lower, using things like a gap in a hedge, a gateway, electric wires, roads even stream. but these lines will only hold good while that birds want to be in a specific area. when their feeding habits change the flight line changes. go out and just enjoy the walk for now, good times will come and things will be easier to understand. all the best Phil.

I have just about used up this months allowance. plus need a few other bits tomorrow. on their shops web site i see they have hornady blue tips cheap (ish). i have been using Remington since the HRM was new so never tried other ammo. is the HMR as ammo critical as the 22LR is. will the hornady shoot as well as the remingtons. i dont want to be buying differant just to test as the visit is a stock up visit for 500 for each of my rifles. thanks Phil.
