This is exactly how I thought, no solid evidence from trail cams hit by vehs, etc etc, the one night myself and my mate both out foxing we packed up and headed elsewhere, after driving about half mile on a very narrow bendy country lane in the hills near Ruthin in wales we had a large black cat jump out in front of us in the headlights. Clear as day a large cat, we both know and can’t mistake it for anything else, it jumped from our right into the middle quick look at us and one more leap into the scrub to our left, we were about 40/50 yds away only drivings, slow as it’s a dangerous lane to drive any faster, I braked stopping the Veh me and my mate looked at each other saying ***. We calmed ourselves down and got out with the lamp as we heard the sheep in the field to our left making a lot of noise, (windows were down) on looking the sheep were separated as if it run straight between them, this happened around 8 yrs ago now, after all my yrs denying those who said they’d seen one, have since seen another or same one in same area through thermal about 3 yrs ago. If I was on my own that night I’d be forever questioning myself but as I had a mate and we both seen it, no doubt in what we did see, was around the size of a large lab dog, never forget it’s very bright green eyes I the headlights.

I had same problem with my old disco 3 plus other problems while owning it, but it turned out i needed new compressor...but as said above could be other problem.

Had x2 sets of the primo trigger sticks and on both had problems with legs either seizing up on one, and other collapsing, now use the Rekon tripod after using manfrotto tripod with monkey clamp for many yrs, tripods are great for static positions where you can leave rifle in clamp and use both hands freely for using bino or NV spotter, tripod and clamp has to be strong enough to support your rifle, also use viper flex quad sticks when doing a lot of walking.

Few yrs back i was like any other guy who heard these stories of big cats, id laugh at anyone saying they seen one, i was always a sceptic as none had ever been found dead or hit by a car like most animals today or as stated caught on trail cams. This was until one night while out foxing and one jumped out in front of me while driving along a country lane, i wasn't going fast as it was narrow and bendy but their it was in my head lights, we all know the difference if seen and this was no mistaking of what it was. Now this was a few yrs ago near Ruthin in wales and even to this day i question myself about that night, but i was also with a good mate so both of us seen it so I'm 100% sure it wasn't me going crazy and he agrees it was 100% a large dark coloured cat.

I have a rimfire magic 10/22 had it many years, and upto a few yrs ago always used eley subs, that was until they started jamming similar to what you say, i took it back to roger at rimfire magic and he said out of the 20 rounds he tried it worked ok, so got home after few hrs drive for the problem with me to still happen, after looking at youtube vids on different ammo i tried a few and found CCI to work ok and has since not had any problems, my guess is eley changed the recipe in the 22s. but as stated above try other ammo brands.

I've been using a Corinthia sniper/observation bivvy for yrs, which is very similar, add a camo net and some natural vegetation they are great if thats what you want to use them for.

Ive had 2 sets of the gen2s in the past and both failed on me, good when they work but many guys have had same problems, waste of money in my eyes.

Not gen3 but ones before, first set leg seized up sent them back and again with in a few months one leg collapsed, pile of **** if i were you look at tripod with a clamp.

Bought a set of gen2 few yrs ago leg seized the shop replaced them but even they only lasted 3/4 months with one leg collapsing luckily without the rifle on, great idea but only if they worked...Tripod or viper flex 👍
