  1. Were any of you guy's lucky enough to be out today around Black Callerton (west of Ponteland rd, A696)? I was at work and heard the blats and seen a black 4x4 parked in the field, (me jealous, YES).

  3. This one is very similar to my fizzy, great memories of that little bike. My dad bought it for me as a suprise but I had to wait around 6 months before I was old enough to ride it, I used to spend nearly every night in the garage cleaning and polishing that little bike.
  4. You must be desperate for strictly to finish so you can get your dessert!

    tamiflu

Not used it on children but My wife has just got over swine flu and she used Tamiflu with no side effects. She was still very ill with the flu and tamiflu does not cure it, it is only supposed to ease the symptoms and reduce the time you are infected. As I say, my wife did improve but was it the Tamiflu or just the body beating the flu ?? ........... I can't honestly say but I do know my wife was very poorly and if Tamiflu did reduce the symptoms then I'd have hated to see how ill my wife would have been without it.
  6. I've tried a few farmers around ponteland without much luck as a lot of the farmland around there is Blagdon estates and they have their own guns on the land. I've got permission on a few fields beside Newcastle airport but to be honest there are too many public footpaths around it which always seem busy so I don't go very often. On this permission I also always inform the police I'm shooting as it's right under the flight path and I don't want any awkward situations.

    Idiot Alert!

Now that is funny, I nearly sprayed my monitor with a gob full of tea with that one.
  8. Good shooting on your new permission, enjoy it.
  9. Nice shooting, I've got no idea what those mushrooms are just don't eat them.

    9/11

I was loading my wagon at a BOC depot at birtley and it is their rules that you cannot stay in the wagon while it's getting loaded. So I was out of the wagon loading it and didn't know anything about 9/11 until around 4pm UK time when I was leaving the site and had to sign out at security. I had never seen so many people crammed into the security office and when I asked what was going on, the security officer said "there's been an attack on the twin towers and it's possible up to 30,000/40,000 people have been killed" I had never felt so strange in all my life, and doubt I will ever get that feeling again. I got home that evening and sat watching tv all night not being able to get my head around what had actually happened. A very evil attack
  11. A very very big jar! It said on the news that max sentence for this could be Life Imprisonment (don't know if that's true but it was on the news ......... so it must be!)

  13. Would that pigeon be a cross between a woody / feral (if that happens ).
  14. Nice shooting again David, I don't think I've seen that many rabbits this year on my permission let alone shot them. It must cost you a small fortune in ammo with the amount of shooting you do ....... (I'm only jealous)

    Selling stuff

The urge only seems worse because you don't have your gear, I know how you feel. I have got up this morning and it's lovely sunshine and nice dry roads, a day I would have had the bike out for sure. A Hog , but we don't have the long straight roads like you do and hogs don't like our bendy roads! At the moment I can't afford new guns, but I did keep my old ones and they'll be staying.

    Selling stuff

Because I've been on the sick for 4 weeks and my wife has just been made redundant I've had to sell my Kawasaki ZX6R A1P (I'M GUTTED!!!! ) This is her just before my last ride to the buyer (about 5 hours ago ). Has this credit crunch affected anyone else to the point where you had to sell something you really didn't want too?
  19. Always a special moment to see your first scan (i bet you got pictures to show everyone). The daughter headaches don't start until about the 8th year, get ready for it.

    Twin towers

I personally think all these theories are just utter rubbish, it was a terrorist attack (and a very evil one at that) but nothing else.
  21. jojusa

    Twin towers

Lee, do you (as an american) think there could be any conspiracy over 911 ?
  22. Here are a couple of pics to show how the hands and face stand out without camo. It's even more obvious when you are in good cover or among the trees and your face and hands are showing. It has the effect of those black screen puppets, meaning your body with camo is nearly invisible against the background and all that is seen is hands and face. (I did spare you all my ugly mush and covered it!)
  23. smiiithy, have a look here for information on your gun. Great bunch on here and very helpful with BSA guns. http://bsaog.co.uk/forum/index.php?board=29.0
  24. That sounds like me but I've voted Gladdo.
  25. Are you sure that you need to send the whole rifle, normally it's just the action that gets sent and not the stock, scope or silencer. If you've already checked this then I'll get my coat
