What's your budget and what size cabinet are you looking for?
-
I think the old Bay of E will be your friend, there's quite a few of the old type peds on for some decent prices. Yamaha FS1E or DT50 Suzuki AP50 or ER50 Honda SS50 or MT5 Kawasaki AR50 Oh the memories from my youth are flooding back when I typed those names, keep an eye out for any of those peds. All of those (except the Honda SS50) are 2 strokes so reasonbly easy to work on for your lad.

Good shooting pixie. That's the sort of shooting I do, start with nowt and see what shows up.

Hi Rob, I'm from the North Tyneside area but I don't shoot at any clay grounds, only on my permission near Corbridge. Going over there tomorrow as it happens. -
Have a look here col48, youll see everything you need and videos of the sillosocks in action http://www.ukshootwarehouse.com/

Nice shooting George, looks like you had a good day.
-
Good luck with your new gun and enjoy it tomorrow.

My cabinet is a Brattonsound ST5 which has the two locks and it passed with no problems so yours should be ok.

Cheers guy's. :yp: This is the first time I have actually decoyed rooks as normally I just walk the fields and see what turns up. I didn't start with any decoys just a few blasts on the crow call then kept making the pattern with the rooks that had dropped, and I really enjoyed it. My biggest rook bag in one day and my first double.

How many Pigeons are shot by PW members 2009
jojusa replied to plexer's topic in Talk From The Field
17 to add from my recent trips. 15446 -
I went to my permission yesterday and the farmer said that one field seemed to be very popular with the rooks so I thought I'd go and have a look. Got my first double, left/right, over/under, 1/2 or whatever you call them with an O/U. I had a good day (for me ) but these 13 didn't !! I also got 3 pigeons that came too close to my rook pattern.

I was thinking more of "SOGOF" - Shot One Got One Free. :yp:
