Anyone reload for pistols back in the day?
Vince Green replied to bluesj's topic in Bullets, Cartridges and Reloading
People didn't really do reduced loads for 9mm because you needed to cycle the action reliably. -
Where`s the Firearm charge in this?
Vince Green replied to Flyboy1950's topic in General Shooting Matters
It wasn't a firearm that was used ? So how could they? -
Probably get away with it enough times to make it a very good business practice from their point of view

You are exactly right! Because people like us, who are interested enough to do so, can search, research, follow up on links and compare sources, we are able to realise its all a crock of poo. What is more we are able to network those conclusions with others. "Truth" and "transparency" are certainly not two words I would ever associate with Tony Blair but you are right he let the Genie out of the bottle. In some ways he appears to be still trying to get it back. He still thinks that classic Blair babble can sway the argument. It worked for him for many years but those days are long gone now.

That to me is all Pie in the Sky, We already know there is no real co-operation or shared values in the EU. "Pro-speak" that's all that is, next you will telling us "we can see the way forward" or that "together we can build a better future"

The best/worst thing about the UK 80s music videos was the hairstyles! I agree with RC above, for innovation it has to be Thriller

Yes but you miss the point, the EU is in denial because it has no ability to reverse what is going wrong. They cannot reform because they have no mechanism for reform. They are a round table at which every member has to agree. That is its fatal flaw and what we should be focused on. People keep suggesting we should stay in the EU and try to bring about reform from within but they do not realise that will never be possible, so in my view leaving is our only option .

Yes it now turns out that Labour's vote rigging Guru Tariq Mahmood who was convicted in 2008 of postal vote rigging was "employed" to do his stuff in the Peterborough byelection last week. He was also employed in the election win for Fiona Onasanya. - well well! Now that's a big suprisei Typical Labour dirty tricks but what they do is not subtle or sophisticated, it should be easy to prevent it happening

Natalie McGarry, former SNP MP and active remain supporter was jailed this week for 18 months for embezzling money that was in her care during her time as an MP, they managed to keep that very quiet didn't they?

Like Gordon said. So does that mean that Marcus Ball who crowdfunded approx. half a million quid to fund the prosecution is now going to give the money back? Dream on!

My mate bought a rifle, a 10/22 with a threaded barrel. Covering the threaded part to hide it was a really neat knurled nut and I would like to get one the same for mine. Problem is I can't seem to find one advertised. Can anybody point me towards a link?

My Uncle Harry was a sapper in no3 glider at Pegasus Bridge. I didn't know until long after he died when his brother dropped it into the conversation quite casually. So I checked it out a few years ago with the Pegasus Bridge museum and sure enough it was right. Because I have been in touch with them and I am a family member I was invited to Pegasus Bridge this week but I couldn't go.

get some old plastic pistol/rifle primer trays, that way you can count 100 at a time

Just make them sweep the roads, if they want money then I want 8 hours of their day. If they get a better job then bye bye and good luck but sitting on their backsides is never an option. Anybody who wants money should be made to give up their time for it.

Not just outside the UK

yes she and her husband were active campaigners for PIE when they ran the Campaign for Civil Liberties which was a labour funded quango.

Yes but there was a female teacher Jill Arthur 29 recently who was prosecuted in America for a non sexual relationship (only kissing) with an 18 year old pupil at her school and the implication was he wasn't one of her pupils. That's still an offence apparantly
-
Clearly I went to the wrong school But at my college there were several female students who were alleged to be in relationships with lecturers and that was considered normal back in the 70s and didn't raise any undue comment. Different standards or a different time?

Even those figures are subject to scrutiny. Germany is by far the biggest exporter to other EU countries. So if the money it saves from not having to pay import duties to other EU countries gets added to the income side as a "benefit in kind", they are actually doing very well out of their EU membership. This is where the numbers get complicated and people can manipulate them how they want Its certainly the reason Germany is so keen to keep the EU togeather

I have said it before and unfortunately I am almost certainly doomed to have to say it again many times. The quality of our politicians is appallingly low, on both sides of the house. They would be incapable of running a chip shop, yet they think they could run this country! Come on, surely we can do better than this? its just embarrassing

Rats are just so smart, they can suss out a trap.

Don't worry, if the shute doesn't open you get your money back.

I don't know about the black stuff, what I have seen is a clear coloured or greenish coloured thick slime which is some sort of algae, even if you kill it off its still going to block the pump. We had to tell my step daughter to stop putting plain water and a squrt of washing up liquid in her washers and start using ready mix.

+1 its usually caused by filling up the washers with just plain tap water. Screen wash contains a biological inhibitor, good screen wash that is. But once its in there its hard to eliminate it

Go to any small village in any rural location like Norfolk, Warwickshire etc and just count the names on the village war memorial. Then reflect on how small those villages were back then and the effect the loss of all those fine young men would have had. My OH gets a bit impatient with me because I never go past a war memorial and often stop the car to read them. Everyone should do it, so many names, it is truly sobering Not just lest we forget, more like lest we fail to reflect, every name a son, a brother, a husband or a father
