No its more like, big sigh...….., roll eyes...….., "Eerr um err, that's a loaded question"

The real reason she willingly goes on these programmes is because she charges a lot of money for her appearances. She has an PR agent who negotiates her fees and manages her bookings for her like she was some film star. To me, this is yet another example of the moral corruption that these people find normal. As a shadow cabinet minister she should consider appearing on current affairs programmes as part of her public duties not an excuse to line her pockets As such, she has no grounds for complaint when she gets difficult questions, They are not paying her because she has a brilliant mind are they?

I am seriously surprised that the Labour Party allow Diane Abbott to go on shows like that because she just shows herself up every time.

Years ago I was travelling on a bus which was full of kids going to the local sixth form college. One particularly gobby individual was proudly telling the whole bus how he orders lots of stuff on ebay and then says it never arrived etc

Its a difficult subject and it wouldn't be clear even if you had dispatch on your certificate. Discharging a firearm on (or beside) a public highway is specifically illegal, people might argue special circumstances and that might well be accepted. In general I would avoid putting myself in a position where I might end up being interviewed by the boys in blue over a well intentioned good deed.

Thank you, its nice to feel somebody is listening to me -at last! He really is that useless, he has never made a positive suggestion about anything in his whole life and now he has come to the point where he has to he is paralysed. Because he has no opinion to put forward and is incapable of original thought process in a political context. I told you all a year ago he was a lazy "plonker" ( I would have used a much stronger word), perhaps now people will see what I have known for a long time. Lazy, detached, disinterested in anything except his own outdated ideology.

Sheer incompetence on the part of local government, they didn't apparently have any way of filtering them out (allegedly) Everybody who was on the electoral register got sent a voting card automatically by the computer when the button was pressed. It raises questions about other elections too. Eastern European people are usually very keen to get on the electoral register as quickly as possible when they arrive here. Not particularly because they are interested in voting in normal elections, but because you can't open bank accounts or get credit etc if you are not on the electoral register. Its one of the most basic identity checks done by credit checking agencies and your credit rating goes down quite a lot if you are not registered.

And quite a significant number of those were foreign nationals that were not entitled to vote!

I was bought a Gillette fusion razor a few years back and used it for quite a long time, mainly because it had been a gift. In the end I had to stop using it because the blades got so ridiculously expensive to buy, about £2.50 a blade if I remember correctly

Nobody ever asks in my experience

People who are asking for a second referendum (or a peoples vote for that matter) are clearly remainers with an agenda to overturn the result of the first referendum and the subsequent election. Why else would they want one? Many of the suggestions for a peoples vote have put forward questions for the ballot paper that are very obviously loaded towards remain by dividing the leave vote in one way or another. Yet its funny, they don't want to demand that the EU nationals, including the Irish, on the electoral register be prevented from voting this time should there be one. Nobody is talking about the anarchy that would result from such a blatently undemocratic attempt to hijack the process of democracy. Do they really think we would just say "Oh well, that's that then"?

If there were a second referendum (aka people's vote) it would create the equivilent of what we are seeing in France, a breakdown of trust resulting in rioting on the streets. It would destroy all faith in the integrity of Parliament for years to come Too many politicians and other busybodies are trying to subvert the referendum. There was a vote, it wasn't the slightest bit ambiguous, the decision was made. We did not vote for 'ifs' and 'buts'

Believe me he doesn't want to be prime minister, he's far too lazy. That would mean he had to get out of bed in the mornings and actually do something. Why break the habit of a lifetime? Corbyn is a protester not a politician

Would You Say Anything ? If So What ? .
Vince Green replied to marsh man's topic in General Shooting Matters
I judge a real gentleman by the size of the tip. on a free day, £50 for the keeper and £10-20 per beater is the absolute minimum. And they have still had a ridiculously cheap day. Tips are a massively good investment in the shooting world , they buy status and recognition. next year you get invited back, the keeper loves you, the beaters love you and for what? Peanuts really. Its an old fashioned view but its a disappearing world -
Buttock clenchingly EXPENSIVE! that's the elephant in the room where skiing is concerned. Most of the total rip offs, E10 for a coffee, are un necessary and spoil the experience.

The Cayman Islands is a British Overseas Territory, if Corbyn gets in he (or McDonell more likely) can do what they like. However they must be really stupid if they believe the money would still be there by then

But what ever happens in the future, over there or over here Brexit will get the blame for it.

Padstow is very nice but would you really want to live there?

All the lads who work on our bins are very young, early 20s at the most, and all are Eastern European. I don't suppose that's a coincidence?
-
This /\ our collections are all by contractors and they are rubbish collectors alright? any excuse, including false excuses, and they won't empty your bin they blank the whole road quite often, if the parking is a bit tight

You are making a big assumption in believing that a lot of offenders are capable of being rehabilitated or hold any desire to be rehabilitated. Many are very happy living exactly the way they do right now. Obviously that's not all of them but don't get caught in the trap of believing there is a one size fits all solution to all this

Community service is not what you think it is. They do have people out picking up litter and painting out graffiti but not many. The H&S and the need for heavy supervision is too great and often the participants are so uncooperative and negative about the whole process they just won't do it. They can't trust them to go into peoples houses to help the elderly etc so they struggle to find things for them to do

Garden waste collection is £79 pa here and right now, most of the time, it just goes in the back of the same dustcart as the general waste collection. Only in summer do they seem to collect it in a separate cart.

Harrods pork pie is simply the best. Its dearer than the others but not ridiculously more expensive. Trouble is I don't get up there as often as I used to
