The point is, if I were him I would be more afraid of the bad publicity he is generating for himself and his case. he has turned himself in but is fighting extradition. Every time he appears on TV his "approval rating" in the UK goes down

Its not complicated, the question is very simple "do we make or do we lose money by being a member of the EU?" not even oowee could suggest that we make money out of being a member now another question "So whats the point in staying ?" and another thing while I am at it, any form of intervention to move companies is against the EU's own constitution if the move results in closure or job loses in the original country. The farmers in our family are rubbing their hands with glee at the prospect of a hard brexit. If it means an end to the EU dumping its food surpluses in this country. Yes food prices will go up, but they will go up to the true market price for produce and the money will stay in this country. The EU farmers over produce because they grow food purely to earn subsidies and they have no prospect of selling it in their home market There is something very wrong with things when you can walk into a supermarket in this country and buy Spanish cucumbers for 50p. I don't suppose many people have ever questioned it very deeply, why would you? but its dumping and it bankrupts the british producers. Same with tomatoes and a lot of dairy produce.

But he is not wrong, not that many years ago virtually all civilian guns were made in backstreet workshops in places like Birmingham or the East End of London using little more than hand tools. It wouldn't be hard to make a gun. Drugs and illegal immigrants seem to make it into this country with very little difficulty, why would it be any harder to smuggle in guns? Tackling that requires effort, banning antiques is way easier.

He has to take into account that by doing what he is doing his name is far more in the spotlight than it would have been if he had not done a runner. That is not a good thing these days with social media he is setting himself up for a life sentence of harassment after he comes out of jail. Although it was a tragedy the case had attracted very little publicity and he was an unknown to most people. Now he will never be free of the case

You have to be very careful about rented properties because most landlords download pre written generic contracts which ban everything including parties, pets, guns, drilling holes in walls etc. two choices, inform landlord and hope for an adult response or do it anyway but carefully restore damage properly before leaving (my choice)

You have to realise that if they can pull a rabbit out of the hat and actually sabotage Brexit rewards beyond their wildest dreams await them in Brussels. Brexit is going to cost the EU Billions and probably bankrupt them over time. Any body who can turn that around will be a hero in their eyes and the appropriate gratitude will be shown.
