Buying my First Rifle

+1 to getting the .22 first, and a big +1 for the CZ -
Not if you had been running it!

The UN is a large ineffective talking shop which is widely ignored by all the people it was created to keep in line.

Marlin microgroove rifling doesn't like soft lead bullets so the hard cast bullets from Shellhouse Bullet Co will be ideal. Any published load using Unique is pretty much always going to be good. Its such a forgiving powder its hard to go wrong .

The things you most want to bring back you can't anyway, and bizarrely that's because of US law which is crazy.

Actually the biggest natural enemy is probably mange round this part of the country.
-
Absolutely the reverse, stay out of it would be my advice. If you start doing things you are accepting liability should anything happen. Don't you have a road committee?

I put food scraps out for the foxes here when there is something to throw out that they would eat. Which isn't that often admittedly but the foxes here are so tame they are like pets

Its still happening, nothing has changed except the age bar has been raised to over 16. So now its OK, its legal, carry on fill your boots. The girls are just as vunerable, the exploitation just as cynical but Hey! copper she's 16 so on your bike.

Just for the record, I cannot change my practice. In my Trust area your postcode decides which practice you are assigned to and its not negotiable. But I have never seen or even met the GP to which I am assigned. Partly because I rarely go there but when I do its always a locum. and never the same one twice. In reality, (this is London remember) more and more people are using the private walk in centres that are springing up all over the place for lots of ailments . Much more convenient but also no record should you want there to be no record for whatever reason. It may not be FAC related. Lots of people, pilots, coach drivers, .train drivers, police officers etc even taxi drivers and TV personalities may have things they don't want in the public domain. and all your medical records are now on line so anyone with a password can access them.

Whats so wrong with a hard Brexit? Its what we voted for and its streets ahead of anything else on the table.

I don't think anything does for long

We had something similar within our family. They wanted to move him to Singapore, the move looked good but his employment with the UK company would end and he would be employed by the Singapore Company with no guarantee of return. Global companies are tricky, I worked for one Most contracts these days say something to the effect that the employment is not location specific, so you sign that right away the day you join the company.

You missed out that he is also bone idle and doesn't like getting his hands dirty with anything that looks even remotely like work. He couldn't function as a Prime Minister because he wouldn't have anybody to criticise.

Having hunted in the US, you haven't missed much except perhaps a near death experience or two. They don't wear high viz as a fashion accessory over there. We envy their freedom to hunt where they like but there are just too many idiots. Gettysburg is a good place to see.

Corbyn is a leaver pretending now to be a remainer, May is a remainer pretending to be a leaver. Where are they going to film it? on the set of would I lie to you????

Ukraine has a very fertile soil and grows a lot of wheat which is exported creating a comparatively wealthy country by former Communist standards. The Russians want a piece of that, and are trying to muscle in using paramilitaries. Migration has produced a civil war with people getting killed and whole villages being ethnically cleansed, so yes, you are over simplifying it.
-
Ukraine has a significant percentage of its population that consider themselves to be ethnic Russians. They migrated into Ukraine in numbers after WW2 because it was "better" there than Russia and the Ukrainians could not stop them under Communist rule.. If you were looking for an example of the effect of unregulated migration on the social balance Ukraine would be a text book case.
-
That entire article is a complete lie!
-
I'm not entirely sure they ever knew the true figures for migration from the EU because so many migrants don't go through formally documented channels. They can just drive in and work cash in hand then take the money they have saved up and go home again. Leaving no record they have ever been here What's more, I know they are confident they will be able to continue to do it after Brexit

My mate was a very keen radio ham, its a very solitary hobby though. His missus got the hump with him shutting himself away for hours every night and eventually they split up.

You have to take into account the very serious implications of using cheap mineral oil in modern car engines that are not intended to run on anything but synthetic. You have to really trust the garage that does your servicing these days because a cheap service could easily be the most expensive service you have ever had. There was a very experienced contributor on the MB owners forum a while back talking about turbo failures on Mercs and he said every single one he had ever investigated had followed on from a cheap or backstreet service in the previous year and suspicion that the wrong oil had been used. Turbos run so hot that only synthetic oil can withstand the heat. . The number of cars failing their MOTs on emissions has trebled in the past year. How much of that is down to servicing issues is speculation but always use the very best synthetic oil and change it regularly is not bad advice. We are entering an era now where 5 year old cars are going to the scrapyard after failing emissions

I think the problem has always been that the communities concerned regard the girls as low life slags and so it doesn't really matter what happens to them. Its not an uncommon view, and certainly not restricted to this situation as anyone who has lived in a garrison town will know.. I'm sure its still going on they are just more careful about the age of the girls.

What you have to realise is that the far left have well over a hundred years of experience in stifling any sort debate that doesn't fit their agenda.

Its a tough debate but he does hit a lot of raw nerves and I do think (against my insincts) he is 'on message' and I think now (which I didn't think then) he has a point and I generally feel a lot warmer to him.
