  1. Actually, its more than a bit confusing to drive round there now with all the barriers, but Parliament is in recess at the moment, all the MPs are on holiday. There is not much evidence he was trying to kill anybody, if he was he was spectacularly unsuccessful, its hard not to hit cyclists in london
  2. All will come out in good time, early reports say it was an Uber Cab
  3. I keep saying it on here, he was my MP for nearly ten years. The man is totally bone idle, that's my biggest criticism of him. He doesn't lift a finger to do anything unless it suits him to do it. Think back since he was elected leader of the Labour party, have you ever once seen him on TV visiting a school or a factory? meeting the ordinary people he needs to relate to on a day to day basis, just being a party leader putting himself around. I haven't, not even once. He is distant and a bit aloof in a sneering sort of way, . He surrounds himself with his own little clique of looney lefties and never wants to venture outside that circle. He hasn't done a real day's work in his life He would never make a Prime Minister in a million years
  4. +1 Our balance of trade with the EU is £70 billion adverse (some say £100 million adverse) no deal is not going to be our problem.
  5. When you die, a lot of your organs are removed anyway. Look up the Alder Hey organs scandal. Tip of the iceberg
  6. The programme seems to imply that anyone can go to America and just buy a handgun (WRONG!) even if its antique you cant do that. They then can 'export' it out of the US (MEGA WRONG in so many ways) and just walk through customs with it by explaining its an antique. I have got to see this! it appears to be a total work of fiction. I mean to say, they wouldn't be biased would they? Surely not!
  7. +1 I bought a lot of primers off them at Bisley a couple of weeks ago. Yes they are good
  8. Cillit Bang, the one for lime and grime. its what our cleaning company uses. If there is a heavy build up you have to let it soak
  9. I agree but its interesting never the less and we ought to know why. Are they not interested or do they feel they would not be made welcome? if its the latter we need to look into it.
  10. When I was a kid I grew up near a very big American Air Force Base at West Ruislip. Lots of black people but all American service families. I loved them, their dads drove Chevies, thunderbirds, Buicks etc and their toys were a million years ahead of what we had. They had fridges and food mixers, their mums made waffles etc To me they were an elite, its strange how racial perceptions alter
  11. I have never really thought about this before but now I have I realise its true. Very interesting observation. A very good friend of mine is West Indian, from Barbados and he is a mad keen match fisherman but as he admits, He's the only one he knows.
  12. send them an email and see what they say
  13. VAT and import duty and the post office will charge you about £12 to collect it. If you can find an American seller willing to sell you any gun parts these days you are lucky. They are very cautious.
  14. My 86 year old mum got caught with one of those, phone rings and as she picks up they hang up. So she called them back "because it might be something important" and they just kept her talking, very nice friendly girl apparently
  15. Just run it into any old drain, nobody will ever know.
  16. I want to take my OH on a "holidaymaker" sea fishing trip out of Poole harbour. I want something very low key, a couple of hours to catch a few mackerel or whatever, dangling a line over the side. the idea is that she enjoys it and wants to go again. Maybe then next time out for a bit longer and so on. I enjoy a bit of sea fishing but I want to include her, she won't shoot but I think a bit of fishing might tempt her. What I don't want to do is put her off, and that's a real danger, I have to introduce this idea by stealth because If she doesn't like it or its too much its game over. Does anybody know of a really tame boat trip in the Poole area ?
  17. Boris is just promoting Project Boris, he wants/needs to keep his political pot simmering and a bit of controversy makes front page news. Don't trust him
  18. No its not, there are probably a lot more feral white kids like that roaming the estates than all the other ethnic groups put together. Hoodie, cheap training jacket, grey primark trackies and low budget trainers, that picture could be described as the Chav's in their national dress.
  19. They would have to have a means of selling that much meat absolutely immediately if it were poachers. That's not going to be easy
  20. In the film The Dark Knight, Batman is locked in a fight to the death with the Joker, at one stage the Joker gets up after being knocked down and says a line that is almost brilliant, he says "You can't hurt somebody that doesn't care" That is so true, I have adopted it as my motto
  21. We have all probably known somebody who has been through a difficult divorce and people in those situations can be totally bloody minded. They dig in and won't budge even though they know they can't win. Couples who end up with nothing having blown all their money on legal bills arguing over the CDs and the lawnmower. Pride comes before a fall.
  22. That happens already internationally, there is a big trade in organs, whether its illegal or not I don't know. It definitely happens in America where I don't actually think its illegal to sell organs, people even sell their blood over there.
  23. I have never found a good supplier in Europe
