The papers today are all full of questions about Biden's competence or his grasp on the situation. He still doesn't see what the problem is. Afghanistan was a NATO mission, in wasn't within his gift to just arbitrarily walk away. The American troops withdrew so quickly they left billions of dollars worth of kit behind including vehicles and even helicopters Now the vice president is literally in hiding. She won't come out to face the cameras. She presumably doesn't want guilt by association. I never thought I would say this but I almost wish trump was back

No because they will charge you a hefty sellers fee, much more than they charge the big boys and of course they charge themselves nothing. They will put all their own cars on at the beginning when everyone is keen. Your car will go on right at the end when everybody has already spent their money and /or gone home

A lot of the places in Jaywick wouldn't be mortgagable probably

Total rubbish in my experience. They quote you one price but when the agent turns up its a different story altogether.

I know from my own experience that having a towbar is a notifiable modification so it seems to me they are looking for any excuse -
Because there was a surplus of Labour the pay and conditions was rubbish but the shoe is on the other foot now. The haulage companies are moaning about all the Eastern European drivers going home but they had to because they were all on contract. Offer them a proper job and they can get a work permit but the haulage firms don't want to do that

If they served along side British troops in any capacity they will now be genuine refugees in fear of their lives and should be let in

Hospital in Texas sacks staff who wouldn't take the jab

Oh yes, I am not surprised in the slightest by this having lived in the US three years ago my friend Steve in Aberdeen SC got a chest pain. He went to ER and had an ECG, bloods and a scan but they found nothing wrong and charged him $10,000 which he really couldn't afford and created a hardship paying it off. A year after that he had the same pain but sat back in his chair and waited for it to pass. This time it didn't pass and his partner found him dead about 4pm in his chair. -
The extended warranties these places sell are usually not worth the paper they are written on. So many get out clauses. Have you considered buying through a main agent? its often no dearer. We (my partner and I) both drive Hondas now, her a jazz and me a CRV. The level of service we get from Honda is remarkable, and so cheap Having driven Mercedes for years they can go and fly a kite as far as I am concerned now

To be fair, 700 sounds about ball park. The big variable is how much time is actually spent in prep before glossing. This is where you have to SOOOOOO know your tradesman. An Eastern European with a paintbrush subcontracted to somebody who turns up in a Ford Ranger Raptor covered in bling is not going to cut it for me. Its a trade thats hugely in demand, a bloke that decorated the flat I am sitting in now is currently booked up for probably two years ahead but he is worth waiting for. Trouble is I don't have two years to spare

Any tradesman, any trade will do well if you turn up when you say you will. Do what you agreed to do in a proper workmanlike way and don't charge cowboy prices.

My impression is the Afghans were not trained to think for themselves but only to be the attack dogs for the coalition forces, the expendables Told where to go, told what to do when they got there. Always reassured by knowing there was a massive amount of high tech support behind them to back them up. Then one day they wake up to find there is nobody to tell them where to go, nobody to tell them what to do and no support behind them. Just a crackle on the radio with nobody on the other end

Things like this happen daily in US and don't get reported far beyond the local area tragic as it is our police do a pretty good job of assessing MOST people. We haven't had a shooting like this in ten years and remember the most dangerous psycho's are often the most convincing liars. People with deep seated problems can be very good at hiding them. I'm sure D&C police didn't know the extent of his problems

What the Americans seem to finally have realised after getting involved in so many conflicts such as Korea, Vietnam Iraq Somalia etc is that its impossible to beat a foe on their own home ground. You can suppress them but like weeds on a lawn, as soon as you stop they will return

It's just not possible to be 100% right what ever they try to do We should reflect on how infrequently these things happen. But happen they will. The system works pretty well most of the time. It's never going to work every time

I got a rollicking for not telling them when I got divorced Even though it was completely amicable, very happy event from my point of view

This After Dunblane people tried to present a balanced argument about shooting as a sport to the media and they were edited and selectively mis quoted to look like a bunch of morons It did a lot more harm than good

You could never tell with Trump he was so unpredictable but he didn't actually do it and we will never know how he planned to do it. Biden on the other hand had said for years he would pull the troops out and he did it in a way that left the Afghan army with little option but to run. I don't think there is much doubt around the world that biden destabilised the country

A few observations First the taliban leaders don't venture into Afghanistan very often, they hide in Pakistan where they are given shelter and support. Their bases, training camps and money is in Pakistan Let's not disregard Pakistan's role in all of this. Second let's not disregard the huge amount of involvement the taliban have in the drugs trade and the hige amounts of money they earn from it. They terrorise farmers to grow poppies for them. Third. Biden didn't listen to warnings about what would happen if he pulled out all the troops He believed the Afghan army would be "just fine" on their own. He was the only one who did. Incompetence? Senility? What ever? He didn't have a grasp of the facts. That doesn't look good for a man in his job

Chessington is much better than legoland for kids. you have the zoo and the monorail etc but for four year olds its really over their heads. Universal in Florida you are paying $140 each on the gate. Always investigate deals
