I was over 3 minutes into the clip before I noticed that she was holding a Rifle

Richmond contain 42% Pork and cost around the £2 mark - same content as Sainsbury's at 80p/pack.

"The Black Farmer" do some nice sausages but it's a shame you are not closer as we have a Farm nearby that makes sausages to an old English recipe - they use their own pork and pay a Butcher to visit the farm one day a week to joint all the meat etc - think they are about 96% Pork from memory and no fat comes out of them when cooking - amazing. As for Richmond we normally get them for 1p/pack as they reach their sell by date and the other half makes Sausage Rolls out of them adding Caramelised Onion Chutney to give some flavour.

Should there not be a "stop" across the top of the belt?
-
Use a circular saw - clamp a piece of batten the correct distance from the bottom of the door to act as a stop and allow the saw to remove just about a blades width - easy as.
-
Just out of interest Graham - why were you shooting at such a distance? Why not move your hide closer and take head shots?

I put anything over 1" ish in the green waste bin, anything else gets thrown on the lawn and mowed into shreds with my ride on - most petrol mowers will do the same job.

Army & Navy NAVY ARMS MUZZLE LOADER 12 gauge
bruno22rf replied to Gun Watch's topic in Guns for Sale (Private Sales)
Navy Arms are made in NJ USA and are not connected to Army & Navy AFAIK....you will also , most likely, find by measuring the barrels that these guns are actually true 13 gauge - 12g wads will fit but you will bend your Ram Rod (painful) 13g wads (readily available) are a much better fit. Hope this helps. -
Mmmm, tricky post to reply to without emotions effecting any sensible conclusion or excuse for behaviour that seems par for the course these days. Sadly the Human race seems adept at forgetting the heinous crimes that our civilised World commits with alarming frequency. That such an event as the Holocaust has been turned into little more than a photo opportunity for some is unforgivable.

Midland Gun Company 12 gauge
bruno22rf replied to Gun Watch's topic in Guns for Sale (Private Sales)
Raising a dent like that on a Damascus barrel is going to be 50/50 chance of success - depends on the original quality of the welding/material used and faced with a likely 100 year old gun it's going to be a brave Gunsmith who attempts it . -
Bought the ZKM452 many years ago now and it looks/shoots like new so well made - actually only bought the CZ initially because they were the only company to give us the time of day at a Bisley event where we were looking for our first RF. I bought my son the S200 when he began shooting at the age of 10 and It soon became obvious that it would easily match my S410 in terms of accuracy, considering the S410's Lother barrel that's some accolade. Apologies to OP for straying off topic.

How does this work then if an RFD wants to buy stock from another RFD for selling on - let's just say that Mick buys a gun he believes he can make a few quid on from another RFD - where's the difference if he does this and gets a buyer straight away?
-
You have to use an S200 to understand it....the stock looks like it was made by a child, the trigger looks like a part that's fallen out of an Airfix kit , the Bolt feels like it would be more at home on an ancient stable door whilst the whole conglomeration of it's parts appear to be designed for some kind of deranged Umpa lumpa, but take the trouble of actually hunting with one and then try and honestly admit that you are not rather smitten.

Tried that one Danger-Mouse.....tastes odd to me, Coffee is for after you fall over not before .
-
Seems rude not to mention the AAS200 . You might like to see the Airgungearshow review?

So good news everyone....after contacting Fullers they gave me details of a local ( 8 miles away) stockist and off I popped only to be told that they have never stocked the stuff, rang Fullers back and they have not only spent a considerable amount of time contacting local outlets ( and found one that actually has the stuff) but they are sending me a not quite a few bottles as an apology - 14 was mentioned .
-
All the high street supermarkets sell porter? Bit like saying they all sell Cola, but we all have different tastes hence I'm asking for any that are good yet reasonably easy to obtain. Whitebridges - been trying to get my hands on that very one, had a call from Fullers today advising me that our local Sainsbury's stock this brew - 14 mile round journey only to be told that they have never heard of it
-
To miss judge the range by nearly 50 yards, in my opinion, makes me wonder what this guy was doing shooting a rifle in the first place - that's nearly a 50% error in range estimation. IMHO a foolish shot to take .
-
I seem to have developed a taste for Porter type Ales but supermarkets seem to stock very few - Asda do a Whitechapel Porter by Shepherd Neame that is v,nice but they never seem to have enough in stock to make the 10 mile journey worthwhile, any fans out there know of a good, easily obtained example?

Bravado aside I'm not sure that giving your lad a 12 is the best way to go - he may well be able to "handle it" but when we are young and foolish the draw of such power can hide the potential damage being done - your lad so your choice but I would suggest a semi 20g to get him hitting targets, depending on his physical size it might be worth looking at the Hatsan youth model. Easy to develop a flinch at an early age and cause poor shooting which is where we find youngsters losing interest.

There's a good chance that Carpet Beetles may be the culprit in which case simply washing all your clothes and the Carpet should do the trick, - pretty sure that any clothes without any metal buttons etc could be treated by 10 seconds in the Microwave but you would need to experiment. As for Moths it's the Larvae that damage clothes so again a good wash/Microwave should do the trick but hanging Fly Paper in the wardrobe overnight might help catch the adults - not sure if they are attracted to light but you could try a small battery operated lamp placed alongside the Paper?

I think Flu would most likely be the end of me as I have no Immune system .

Cant believe this is still here, sweet 16 by a good maker that will last a lifetime.

I didn't tell him I was laid up till Tues, I try and avoid mentioning such things in case he does put other guns in "my" normal areas although, AFAIK, they could come whenever they wanted. Of the 6 of us I believe that I am the only one who can shoot 24/7 so they would only be available at w/ends. Hoping to be able to walk again this w/end but Psoriatic Arthritis is so unpredictable, if I can force my boot on then I'm going to be back on them.
