Bin looking for a Mercury "S" in .177 flavour since the end of 2012 and finally got my hands on one last week. Its been in a loft for nearly 30 years and all the seals have rotted away but R&K Stockcraft are servicing it at the moment so I am like a kid on Christmas eve . Going to try and find a cheap scope and the rear sight is broken so I need to find one of those then its going to visit a nice little roosting wood that I have just been given permission on to see what it can do-I have a Daystate MK3 but that's going to the back of the cabinet for the foreseeable future

Black powder storage box plans.

Wildfowler-you may be correct but I have not been told this by the FEO that passed my box/security. My shed had to have an alarm fitted and the box chained to the wall because, according to the FEO , that is what the H&S recommendations are? p.s.-just read the full regs and you are correct-550g-when I find a couple of plastic bottles I will split the powder. -
Just another way of fleecing the poor motorist-joe average coming home from work and doing 34 in a 30-maybe thinking of the kids when FLASH and the days money has gone. I know its a cliché but why don't they spend time looking for rapists and muggers and I know we are not allowed to preach hatred for our valiant boys in blue but they make my blood boil. There must be a way of weeing on their strawberries-I know people who go round the outskirts of our town several times to flash oncoming drivers and warn them but some drivers don't seem to know that flashing headlights and a thumbs down sign means speed trap ahead-spread the word and lets all do it-at the end of the day you are simply slowing down the traffic and the police should be glad of your help-unless, of course, they are more concerned with money than safety?

End of April before you get any branchers around here.

Black powder storage box plans.

My box is kept in a workshop attached to the house-door had to be alarmed and box had to be fixed to the wall with a heavy duty chain. The container mine comes in are 9cm x 7cm x 22cm high for a 1kilo bottle. -
That's a heck of a Tyre ack ack, I might order me a set of them-are they Mullakin tyres or Korean fok u dyungs?

Old Tom and Old Peculiar are well established quality beers-and Tesco often have them @3 for £5. I refuse to drink anything from the Badger brewery after visiting it and Black Sheep seems to have developed a horrid taste. Old Thumper, ESB and Bass would all get my vote as well but sometimes Ales vary from one pub to another.

My Saab 9-5 eats them in less than 10k-and that's the highest rated Pirelli jobs @ £140 each

Bought myself an air rifle with a kick start!

If it is anything like the original Goldstar it will drip oil, loose compression, be uncomfortable to use and break your teeth as it backfires. -
Well tracked down what was wrong with the Wolverine in the end

Bought a moderator (Weirauch) for my MK3 last year and the essential adaptor-the adaptor was so poorly machined that pellets were hitting the mod internals. My local dealer told me that he had replaced loads of them that had been machined off centre-I gave up in the end and fitted a DS airstream-not as good as the HW unit but less hassle. -
If people with these types of disability want to work and be treated like everyone else then they should follow the same rules - theft is theft and any normal person would be punished or are we heading towards "able bodied" discrimination. People fall over themselves in the fight to ensure equal rights but its got to work both ways or not at all.

Bin using defender now for over a year and it seems to work 100%-hate to think how much money people waste on Norton etc.

The electric wire fencing used for sheep (no plastic) is ideal for snares-copper wire will break and can glow in the dark-even the brass ones need to be left outside to weather for a few weeks. As a rough guide your outspread fingers are about the right size ( assuming you have average sized hands) for the loop and you need to have the bottom of the loop at a rabbits chest height. I have never used snares over holes-if the rabbits are feeding nearby and passing under a fence then this is the best place to put the wires

Hate to say it but "special needs" is a massive get out of jail card-it often trumps health and safety. You will not get anywhere reporting it so tackle it at grass roots level-some of the suggestions so far are not too wide of the mark.

He muthed be doing thumthin else.

B) Isle of Wight, you say-I wouldn't do this for just anybody but how abouts I come over for a couple of weeks in, eeeerm the summer, and see what I think you are doing wrong-we could shoot bunnies in the cooler evenings and then I could lay somewhere (somewhere sandy would be good) during the day and formulate a plan to increase your bag.

I advertised an identical car on here a while back for a grand (it was the GDI-petrol version)-less miles and with fsh-no takers. Sold it in December for £500 to a local dealer just to get it off my drive-he sold it in Feb for £4500. Snip at less than 3.5k.

See if Go Outdoors sell them-they will beat any price-just take along a copy of the web page-the offer must be available instore as well as online.

Trying to locate details of your uncle GOLDCREST-a surname would save me heaps of cross referencing.

Your lack of confidence and the pressure you feel under to do well could end up ruining your entire enjoyment of the sport. You are a novice so you must expect to find the sport much more demanding but as you are shooting live quarry I think it would be wise to improve your skill before you carry on. You might find that a simple alteration to your stance or hold will have Digweed worried but you need someone to point you the right way-get the best-its a bit of a trek but I used to drive from Aylesbury to Potters Bar every day so its not too bad-I cannot think of anyone better than Guy Bond just outside Aylesbury, if you cannot get on with Guy then take up knitting-the man is pure genius.

You will need someone who is CRB checked-your daughters school will normally know of people in your area - you could offer her assistance yourself as well

Is a Bennelli 100 K2 a scooter?-if so there's one in my garden you can have for a couple of hundred-my daughter rode it to work last year but now has 4 wheels-bit rough but been rebored, new alternator-new (but now rusty!!) exhaust.

pm me your address james and I will stick them in the post-if the ones you are using are really tight you might want to try 13G wads-I will put a few in a separate bag along with over shot wads etc-hope they are of use to you-Bruno.BTW-for more reliable ignition, load the gun with the hammers at half cock-it seems to encourage powder to fill the nipples better.
