Is Marmite not made from a by-product of brewing? And as for salty-I seem to recall that the bread that you put it on has more salt than the Marmite? -
Hatsan do a 20g junior semi-cheap and v.good value.

I would soak it in WD40 and leave it overnight-then buy a can of compressed air and blow it out-if you cannot get a can ask someone with a PCP airgun if you can borrow their tank for 5 minutes-only a few quid to refill.

Sorry NickS but I cannot believe that, in this day and age, anybody would not shop around for insurance of any kind-it takes 10 minutes could save you hundreds (and get you a free Meerkat !!)+ NEVER opt for auto renew-make a point of telling them you do not want it.

If the gun fired and the barrel remained in place then it can only be the cocking arm or maybe the shoe that fits on it.

You would be covered under the Distance selling law-however you must return the item in good condition-surely they would clean up good as new?

FENTON-go on-I dare you.......

You could try your local college-I expect that the mechanical engineering dept needs vehicles to work on? I seem to recall our local college looking for a project car a few years ago?

Paddy Galore-with both hands , no doubt, needed to hold said Badger down-how do you harvest the fat? I don't need you to go into too much detail but could you, for example, whistle whilst you were harvesting?

My neighbour, Paddy O'tool puts sawdust on his bird table to attract them

SV650-does it need a chain?-wouldn't the draft caused by the front sprocket spinning cause the back wheel to turn? I am convinced that the ones that I have seen work this way

Is it because she feels alone amid a group of sex offenders?

If you are in a competition environment then I would suggest that you borrow a chrono and determine the best fill pressure to give you the most consistent velocity shots-and note how many shots are within an acceptable FPS range. Lets say that you get 30 shots between 600 and 650 fps at a fill pressure of 170 bar. With this information you can make batches of 30 pellets and charge the gun to 170 bar before you shoot knowing that when the 30 are gone you need to recharge your gun. Hope this helps and apologies if my first reply seemed to question your competence.

I know what you mean about bike maintenance during the winter-I used to ride a Honda 900 to work in all weather-now my bike only comes out in the sun (wife says not to bother with polish-just put suntan lotion on it) and has never seen a drop of rain.

Bungee cord and double sided tape?

As mentioned-a Scottoiler would be the best long term but with such short distance I would think that any decent quality chain lube should do-during winter wash it down every month with wd40 or gunk and reapply the lube. Many modern chains are O ring sealed type and don't need the deeper penetrating oils of yesteryear. If washing it off your swing arm is such a chore you might find comfort in the fact that its stopping the dreaded rust.

I guess its hard not to boast when you pull off a difficult shot and, truth be told, I bet we have all taken shots at live quarry that, with hindsight, we may have regretted or not repeated. A decent airgun running at the legal limit and in the right hands and conditions is capable of killing at 70 yards but deciding when all of those parameters have come together is open to debate. Not going to insult the OP as its not my place or prerogative but I think you might be wise to take care over your choice of targets that you consider feasible-even more so when you are unfamiliar with your new gun .
-
May I suggest that you fit a scope and zero the gun before shooting live quarry with it?
-
I find it a little unusual that you have been using this gun so often, and for so long, that you have never solved the initial power loss problem before-it is well documented on hundreds of articles concerning non regged PCP guns. I am also confused as to how a gun can be accurate at one distance and inaccurate 5 yards either side? - surely to be accurate at , say, 30 yards-the pellet must follow an equally true path to reach that point? ? (unless you are using radar guided pellets)

team tractor-Lands End to John O Groats on a C90 would make a great write up-when can we expect it?

Marbles go well and are cheap + nobody thinks twice about seeing them laid around.

Well-are you male or female?

Wrong, flazz-I have sent several Airguns by post over the last year-in fact you will find it easier to post an Air rifle than a can of Shaving Foam
