Am I missing something here?-Why is it "illegal" to deliver?-Why are you posting the pellets separately? This is not a firearm and your local Post office will gladly relieve you of about £12 to deliver it. (not to mention that these guns are less than £120 new )

Great character brilliantly portrayed-RIP Trigger

RWS or Eley seem the best-just open a box and look at the quality compared to others.

Nobody forces people to take out these loans-it seems to me that its half wits that borrow at these rates then go bleating to the press or CAB when they realise that they have to pay the money back-come on people-wise up.

Rang my local Saab specialist last week after the ignition switch started playing up. Now, considering they specialise in these vehicles, I was surprised that the service dept. took so long to reach a quote of £390 + the dreaded vat-the switch itself was £128+. As this seemed a bit pricey to me I asked if they would give me the part number so that I could see if I could locate a switch a little cheaper and then they could fit it for me only to be told that "we are not allowed to release that information, sir" WHY?-can I invade Russia with the switch number? To cut a long story short I went on a mission to repair my motor on a budget. A seller on Fleabay was selling genuine, boxed, switches at less than £50 all in so I rang to see if he could confirm that the switch was correct for my car-only to be told that there was only 2 variations fitted in the last 9 years and he knew straight away which one fitted mine-didn't even need the Reg. number. Took the car yesterday to my local garage and it has just been delivered back to my front door-along with a bill for £50. So-one phone call and the car is fixed for less than £100 compared to over £400 and travelling costs if I had gone to a certain "specialist" in MK. How do they get away with it and how many people get ripped off every day?

Let me just get my head around this-you bought a Gamo ? (deliberately/by horrible accident?) and you are going to buy another?

"Brilliant"?-did you watch the same first episode that I did?-I find Mr Lupton very entertaining but to spend half the program watching him plinking is pushing the bounds of what's interesting to its limit. If this is the first episode would it not have made sense to make it a good one? IMHO the whole channel needs a violent shake up before it sinks into obscurity.

Just watched the first offering and gave myself a pat on the back for staying awake most of the way through. Nearest description I can think of is " A film version of all the garbage recycled monthly by the Airgun rags-but without the advantage of being able to flick over the page after reading the first line" Got to rush out now and range find/plot all the points in my back garden.

A nice pair of tits takes a lot of beating.

How can any serious hunter do anything but bow down in awe at the mighty hero that is Mr Harford? To kill a tiny pig with a sword takes enormous balls-wish I were a fraction of the man.

As an adult you watch this drivel?

Well said, Fisherman Mike-I'm with you. As far as my feelings go I still accept the fact that all vermin should be shot.

Find another Dentist-there is absolutely no reason to be in pain while you are in the chair-my Dentist even numbs the gum before injections.

Simple-buy a handful of polystyrene tiles and stick them on the inside surfaces of the cabinet-use a suitable glue that will not melt the tiles and can be peeled off the metal should you decide to remove them-you might even get away with double sided tape-for extra peace of mind pop a caravan dehumidifier inside-the ones that plug into the mains to dry them out will be cheapest in the long run.
-
I believe that you can put it in your car-only legal issue, I think, is that duty was charged at a different rate when you bought it- don't think anybody following your car will notice though

There's over a million words in our language, mikky, but I doubt that any of them will make things any easier for you-all you can do is be there for her and pray that she is not in any pain. My absolute best wishes are with you both.

Am I being remarkably unchristian in wishing that he was having a family hug when he was shot?

Bin man-£250 a week + all you can eat. Surgeon needed at local Jewish playgroup-£300 a week + tips.

I had one as a child but I cannot recall it having scope rails? It has the same cylinder as a Diana mod. 22 and I think that it also shares parts with the junior and other models. From my recollection its a very basic gun with crude open sights.

Thank you for such a pleasant response, Scully, we have much common ground-if the balloon goes up again I would be happy to march alongside you sir

Time seems to add a certain romantic bent onto what were the lowest points in our countries history-since childhood the majority of men have dreamed of the glory of fighting and drowning in a sea of heroism. The harsh reality ,however, was little short of a living nightmare-if you consider that many men who fought in the first war had never been outside their village then the novelty of being trained and transported to a foreign land must still have been fresh in their minds when they were asked to go "over the top" and walk slowly towards rows of enemy machine guns-in this day and age the top brass would face a charge of crimes against humanity. The second war was a scene that we set because we never properly defeated and disarmed the enemy in the first war-again our men were forced to fight a war with the odds stacked against us from the start-as a nation we had been raped of our forces and in an attempt to keep the lower classes in their place those in power had taken their eye off the ball and led us to disaster. I note, with some amusement , the recent surprise expressed by some upon discovering the lies of the late Mrs Thatcher-how many people realise that Churchill knew that Germany could never invade us? but tell people that their backs are against the wall and see how much harder they fight-lies and propaganda go hand in hand with politics-only the size varies.

Honour and glory?-the vast majority of the men who fought the crusades were forced to do so by the monarch-those who refused were imprisoned (many at Creslow in Bucks) and were stripped of their lands and titles-thousands died to make our monarchy richer.

I read a similar post last year concerning where to go in the uk for your family hols-general advice seemed to be Pembrokeshire so I took the advice and we trundled of to Tenby-best holiday by far for years-we were amazed at how few people were on the beach each day, it also seems to have its own mini climate which was warm/hot compared to areas as little as 50 miles away-I would strongly suggest you consider this area-I used to go Cornwall/Devon most years but the overcrowding and rip off prices get on your tuts after a while.

Couldn't get to sleep so watched nearly 30 seconds of cricket-worked a treat.
