AFAIK there is absolutely no first class post as we know it over the Crimble period, but the good old PO will happily flog you a stamp. Disgracefull behaviour from an organisation that needs closing down. Example, 2 x 35 kilo boxes from UK to the Netherlands, PO price £120 for delivery within 4 days....DPD £28 next day delivery and collected from our door (about 4 years ago now), ordered an item from a dealer in Coventry a few weeks back (48 miles from me) from the PO acknowledging reciept to delivery at my door 6 days !!!!!!

OMG, how stunning is that?

Maybe a little melted cheese over the Cauli? but that's mighty impressive sir, what time do you open?
-
Just about the best post I have read for many years, your honesty is equalled only by your loyalty. I shall raise a glass to your good health Sir.Respect.

Same here but often put cheese on top.

Mark up on Fish and Chips is approx 60% - cook your own.

When I was still driving I was with these guys for years, TBH I couldn't fault them.

Stopped buying Walkers years ago as they lost all their flavour and now buy the Aldi "specially selected" bags - the Salt and Vinegar version is sublime.

Jesus wept, wouldn't know if I should shoot that or make love to it......

Correct in one sense OPP, but your consumer rights are far more than 2 years (up to 6 in most cases), if the gun was bought ,say, 3 years ago new it would still be the dealers responsibility to sort it out.

RSPB 2022 report on raptor persecution incidents
bruno22rf replied to Conor O'Gorman's topic in General Shooting Matters
High time the law was changed, proven cases of Raptor killings should carry a £5000 (per bird) mandatory fine and a lifetime ban on gun ownership if such a weapon was used. -
Did you buy the gun new? Before opening her up make sure you dont have any warranty on the gun.

I sometimes use a blowtorch to give mine that Tandoor cooked appearance.

Far too much faffing about, we buy the Buldak Hot Chicken flavour (Morrisons do them), boil em for 5 minutes then add the sauce, not had any complaints but people are normally too busy trying to put out the fire in their mouth to complain 😃.

Ony downside to these Annie's is losing the option of blaming the gun should you miss.

I always use Sesame Oil in stir fries and groundnut Oil in Curries. As soon as Sesame Oil gets hot it releases a superb Chinese food aroma.
-
Another fine looking plate Sir!! Do you use Sesame Oil to fry?

How true, my brother only eats classic english foods unless they venture out and buy a chinese. His normal cuisine is Liver and Onions, Bacon Clanger, casserole and dumplings or, more often, Burgers at roadside cafes (he's a HGV Driver), there is a world of flavour out there but he refuses to even try it.

Thread heading reminds me of a comment my brother made recently when I offered to cook him a curry - "Not eating that that foreign muck - I'm ordering a Chinese "
