  1. Home made Whole meal - way to go.
  2. Shocking abuse of the Toast there, halve it and put it on the edge of the plate so it's still crispy (butter it when it's cold), pretty sure that's how the Queen used to eat hers, she used to buy beans from Lidl as well - only the best.
  3. Chips look more like small roasties but heyho, could do with a large butter fried Mushroom?
  4. I would suggest that you get the gun serviced/tuned before spending cash on a scope, never known a 35 to have a particularly harsh recoil and cutting the barrel down may have caused the problem?
  5. A "friend" of mine takes myself and my 2 Spanners out once a week and brings his 2 Labs. The behaviour of both his Dogs is shocking, one of them just runs off and does it's own thing occasionally reappearing from the woods and tries to rip a ball from your hand if you have one - if he gets one he just drops it and runs off again. The other dog is worse, it is totally ball mad and will try and rip one from your hand or a ball launcher/ pocket. I like to throw a ball into the undergrowth, walk away, then send a Dog back to find it but his Dog bulldozes in and tears around until he finds it then doesn't give it back, result is my Dogs get little or no training or fun. His Dogs have no recall and pull like Draft horses on the lead. I try to hint but he seems oblivious, a while back he took them for a training session and they behaved impeccably with the trainer, easy to see where the problem lies.
  6. You might want to check the problems with taking a lot of salt, it can cause several problems - fluid retention is common and hard to spot until damage has been done usually to the kidneys and heart.
  7. Hartleys? Christ no, we weren't made of money, Aldi or Tesco around 30p/can. Along the same lines Lidl used to do 2kg frozen Fries for 99p and frozen Nasi Goreng for the same price, we would buy several of each and feed 5 for 99p some evenings.
  8. When my kids were younger and at home things were tight (3 day week etc, mortgage rates 10+%) I used to make what became known as "Slop". Aldi tinned Stewing Steak or similar along with tinned potatoes/carrots/garden peas. All boiled together with hot water gravy powder and ketchup and a slice of bread to soak up any juice leftover. Bloody superb and I sometimes cook it up just to bring back those memories.
  9. A true ambassador for a sport that money has ruined. RIP Sir, your place in history has been justly earned.
  10. Heard of that but never tried it, she sounds like a clever lady.
  11. It's a small fan oven, nothing more?? The majority of buttons are sales gimmicks and ,if you preheat, there's only 3 buttons to use.
  12. Do a Tandoori chicken breast in it, with dirty chips (tomato/garlic/onion/ginger and curry powder mixed and sprinkled on to fresh cooked chips') absolute belter of a meal, can send you some powder mix if you like but you will need to buy Tandoori paste.Or go wild and cook Bombay potatatoes to go with it, sublime.
  13. IMHO, you need to Caramalise those Onions when you make the gravy, takes about 45 minutes.
  14. Anybody doesn't love Sprouts is Gay (probably), food of the Gods.
  15. Only time we have had smoke was when a whole chicken was touching the element cover plate (the "roof" of the oven), we have never needed to clean the inside since - the drawer/tray go in the dishwasher.
  16. Where are your meat juices going ?
  17. Which shot is the flyer if it is always the same one?
  18. IMHO the 80 today is nowhere near the gun that the early versions were, if I were hell bent on getting one it would be an early Venom tuned job or an early minter. They are an incredible gun but incredible has moved on I'm afraid.
  19. I marinade mine in Pattaks Tandoori paste (the 2 chilli one only available in 2.5kg tubs) with a little red food colouring overnight then Air Fry them 10 minutes a side at 180 then baste them with more paste mixed with a lump of butter (melted in the microwave) and then cook for 3 mintes each side at 190. At least 10 minutes to rest and you will struggle to find a takeaway as nice.
  20. My neighbour but one is a professional painter/decorator, he does a lot of celeb's houses as well as National Trust, his house is dark grey doors, windows etc.
  21. Had all 7 and had Covid twice, both times while in Hospital, last time was 3 weeks after heart surgery and my Consultant thought that the vaccine had saved my life. I have a personal friend who is a Consultant Pharmacist (actually I have 2 such friends one of them is married to a guy that worked on the vaccine at The Radcliffe) and both assure me that not having the Jab is far more dangerous than having it. Think I'll listen to them.
  22. I use double sided tape to stick them on the inside of the door.
  23. I have a VP90 Sachet in my cabinets and all guns in a silicone sock, never had the slightest hint of damp/rust.
  24. Bit heavy handed IMHO.
  25. What the people that shout about the price of food means is that a complete high fat, high sugar boxed meal full of MSG in a microwavable package, has gone up. When people buy frozen mashed Potato you know we are doomed.
