  1. Just ignore the Ads-they are a waste of time and achieve nothing. I don't bother watching them anymore and besides I don't have the time what with checking that I don't suffer from uneven skin tones or flyaway hair whilst sorting out my PPI claim and deciding how much Wonga to spend on my new Energy saving double glazing.
  2. I think its a great idea-to think of feeding this pig swill to ***** kids and illegal asylum seekers makes me feel all warm inside (which is more than your average school meal will do)
  3. What joints?-I'm guessing a bit of #### Black and a few Red Leb.
  4. I don't bother with Screwfix anymore-since they are now owned by the same Company as B&Q the quality seems to have dropped and prices risen-may as well go to "Buy & Queue"

    Blasted Corn

I was wondering the same thing, JDog, Corn and Wheat height fairly similar but Maize stands taller.
  6. You might want to add pellet fit in the magazine to your list of desirable attributes when looking for a pellet to feed a DS-once the mags get a little worn some pellets can jump backwards out of the magazine as you cycle the bolt-this pellet then drops back into the action and messes up the whole shebang-seems to happen most often if you cycle the mag with the muzzle pointing upwards. I use AA field in my Mk3 and cant complain about the accuracy.
  7. We have a 5mx4m log cabin at the end of our garden that my daughter lives in (and visitors use) and it simply stands on a concrete base with treated timber batons (approx. 4"x4") underneath spaced about 1/2 metre apart. These are eventually going to rot but the building can be lifted enough to simply slide a replacement baton underneath when the time comes. Inside the cabin we have a damp proof membrane on the floor with laminate on top. Its been there over 2 years and has been totally dry and even insect free.
  8. Quite simple Holly-the chook is worth about a fiver-the drugs tend to be sold in large quantities-I need a dribble and not a tsunami-simple economics really. Greens fed are Sweetcorn, lettuce and Bean Sprouts plus the majority of my lawn.
  9. Don't cross your fingers-makes loading tricky
  10. You will have to go a long way to beat Eley subs-RWS come a very close second
  11. Long shot I know but I'm trying to save myself the £40+ that taking my hen to the vet will cost. She has a respiratory infection and needs Baytril or something similar- even Oxytetracycline (human AB) would do-I'm happy to pay if someone has some going cheep ( )
  12. There's not much more chavvy behaviour than shooting pheasants with a cammo clad semi auto-you need the wood stocked version to avoid a serious social faux pas.
  13. Could not be happier?? Have you tried naked wrestling with a good woman? or better still a bad one
  14. Winning bidder-Mr S.Wonder
  15. Just out of interest, and while several Daystate owners are experiencing multiple orgasms simply talking about their guns-how many times have we all read of poor quality rifles leaving the DS factory?-seems like an almost daily occurrence and is simply not acceptable on a gun of that price-customer service may well be second to none but, in an ideal world, you would never need it-in a similar tale of woe I seem to be reading more and more tales of the HW100 falling foul of poor repair/service from Hull CC-in short, if it were my choice, I would look for a well loved, used, S410 in .177 flavour.
  16. There is a chip shop in Tenby-park road F&C-don't go there unless you want to spend the rest of your life telling people that you have eaten the best F&C in the country-or a short trip into Pembroke Dock and the Seven Spice Indian is the best I have ever eaten-we spent a week in the area and were amazed at the quality of some of the restaurants.
  17. If you have a local club then go and have a try with as many as possible-if not then an AA s410 or 510 take a lot of beating but you should really try any gun before buying blind.
  18. Take your time and shop around as its a buyers market. There is no reason you cannot pick up a nice quality gun in your price range that will outlast you-there are other makes to consider such as Miroku and Winchester. If you buy a well known quality gun the chances are that you will lose very little money on it when you come to sell. Don't be afraid of buying from private sellers as there are bargains around and you could get a gun checked by a smith if you are unsure. If I were in your shoes I would look around for a well cared for Winnie 101 or Browning 425.
  19. Unless we get a picture of the woowoo my money is on a Tranny.
  20. I cannot understand how anyone can watch Sky-you simply cannot "get into" anything half decent (and there's very little of that) without being infuriated by adverts-its like paying to be brain washed.
  21. You say your dealer noticed that the bullet heads were being damaged but tried to work around it by trying various types of ammo?? This is a $&*%% Rimfire and you don't want anything nasty so much as scuffing the rounds-demand a replacement. I have a 452 and it will cycle any round with ease (CCI stinger not included)..
  22. The speed vans can, depending on how they are set up, catch you in any direction and at a range of up to 1000 yards. If you have heard nothing within 14 days of the day after the "offence" (inc. w/ends) then you are a free man-but its pure chance-I got caught doing 34 just inside a 30mph zone on a clear road that goes from 60 to 30 and then, just a week later, I went passed a van somewhere near 3 times the speed limit and never heard a word. Good luck
  23. Buy yourself a cheap multi-tool with a pair of pliers built in-then simply crush the neck just below the birds head-job jobbed.
