  1. A kit last week decided to keep me company for half and hour, was within 10 yards. I enjoyed his company and let him go after he became bored.
  2. Bad advice given. Don't attempt it, you will possibly lose the ticket you have, remember "all birds are protected" The general licence gives exceptions but not because you don't want them there. This could be a minefield .particularly if neighbours call RSPCA. Also remember pellet must remain in boundary of permission. Waiting for them to land? very frustrating as they are astute and movement sensitive. As for getting rid, send the the kids out to play?
  3. We seem lucky to have had an odd pair on occasion throughout the winter
  4. Mm, the parasites have started begging for hosts, just received the postal form, 2 of DisMays ilk, 2 from Liebour and 1 independent. 1 Liebour didn't think it needed an address? Just off to ponder where to place my 2 crosses, difficult decision, might just save a drop of ink as I demonstrate my joy in denying the trough. I think the 'I' has it from me. Pleased for you Aled sounds a trier.
  5. Disagree strongly Vince, very good at making hashes. Parasites live off others usually to the point of disabling the host, never quite killing it, sounds familiar? I would love one to call but have only ever had leaflets.

A step back maybe guys? Yes, as probably some of us would if we had absolutely nothing as a back up? The ones further up the chain need taking out but it's Africa so the little guy gets the shi))y bit of the stick as reward for trying to feed his family? All part of a never ending cycle?
  7. Don't feel very hopeful locally here, swallows and swifts in deep decline year on year, Years ago when I proposed to the local council that nest boxes could be made mandatory at the initial planning for all new developments I received a 25 page email excuse that expressed more concern for a bit of bird mess on paths than the species themselves? Feeling as I do now, instead of deleting it I should have sent it to the National Press. Propose this year maybe visible flying, 1 pair of swifts and swallows and 3 pairs of martins if lucky.
  8. I feel really sorry for the poor disadvantaged person who started this to propose that their treat should be a freeetrip offshore in a sub to be discharged via the torpedo tube? What a crackpot, could be lining up to become an MP?
  9. Probably, just as appears to be the way now, the customer being the quality control, no complaint, another winner.
  10. Interesting pleas from a Tory on local farcebook page, bless him.
  11. Understand that but patience is a virtue and good training for us shooters? 😰 If it had cost a few quid maybe, but not for that money?
  12. Just a personal opinion. Why on earth would you look to pay to have a fault on a new item corrected? It should have been returned to the dealer immediately a problem was found. faults never correct themselves?
  13. I think maybe you mean lubricate for arms deals?
  14. Any woodland might be a better option? Sitty trees? Open fields here would be very difficult to get them in for air gun.
  15. Quite, but now well known for being anti democratic, self serving and fiendishly rabid about the trough.
  16. Superb springs so a chrono check a definite must?

McAvoy guns online worth a look?
  18. This just illustrates the total system failure again? No good getting miffed because the illustrious in charge don't give a flying fig as long as their snouts are submerged.
  19. I respectfully suggest that you give uncle Chris a ring and ask for his learned advice?
  20. Poor girl, bless her. Will be interesting to see any recovery of ill gotten gains?
