  1. As long as they replace thatcher with thunberg I am sold!
  2. More like where is mallets mallet 😄
  3. Not so sure it’s so much about taxation and power, as it is about recourses running out! What better way to slow the use of fossil fuels and prolong the dependancy on it, than to claim it’s harming the environment? Then insist we should limit the amount used while paying more for it. Maybe young Miss Thunberg would like to opt into the mars colonisation program? That way she can look forward to a planet unspoiled by global warming, and pollution. Maybe sign the rest of the climate change protestors to the same program! That way they are far enough away that we don’t hear them yelling, and get on with our meat eating, fossil fuel burning, jet set lifestyles
  4. So will Andrew marr claim boris squeezed his leg too
  5. Yeah, plough! That’s only so he can see if he really HAS a pair 🙄
  6. Someone told abbot she HAD the job! Corbyn said “don’t count on it!” apparently abbot took a huge sigh of relief?
  7. I had to stop a father making a peashooter for his kids out of giant hogweed 😕
  8. Her memory better than his? Yet it took her 20 years to remember it? Yeah right!
  9. Germoloids, or deep heat! Both long lasting perfume and seem to pull the mature type in i like diesel, it’s scent is very much like aniseed, or I was also liking Paco Raban million
  10. Did she use a an animal fat £5 note to pay for it too? I got some eye drops the other day. I was bored to read the contents and was a little surprised to see it contained animal sources. Now I can see many folk buying it without even knowing it’s in there not expecting eye drops to contain it.
  11. I thought you had a 14 day cooling off period? That was going back many years after buying a faulty car, and the garage trying to do me over. Citizens adv went with me and I got my money back.
  12. Wonder how much carbon is in 250 28g clay rounds
  13. Looks very nice matey when you making that HS2 wooden train?
  14. Labradors! Thanks Bruar doesn’t stock the one. It had Labrador’s all over the jacket.
  15. Guys, my other half and I were out the other day and we clapped eyes on a lady wearing a very nice tweed jacket! What really set it off was little blue dogs in the fabric, either embroidered in or part of the weave! I have trawled the internet until my eyes fell out into my coffee but couldn’t find a similar one! The motifs are around an inch to inch and a half in size and all over the tweed! Any ideas please? Thanks!
  16. Thanks! I appreciate that link
  17. My pizza arrived cold and I was mis sold it as it was listed as 9” and was actually 8.8”. Do I qualify for a claim?
  18. Well had a proper look and it is indeed gold. It’s 9kt engine turned inside the case and as I say the movement looks really good too. Showing signs of previous work too on the screw heads.
  19. Took a trip to dads today (just checking he was OK) and sat nattering to him while filling in paperwork to sort my late mums accounts etc for him. He tells me there is something in the drawdown for me! I ignored him as i was trying to get the forms filled in for the banks. He again told me there was something in the drawdown and asked my partner to get it for me! She came back with an Avia watch circa 1940 that apparently belonged to my dads old man before he passed away ( some military experimental stuff regarding mines and aircraft ) apparently his plane went down. But anyway dad seems to think the watch is gold, but I can’t find any markings which i would say are proof marks. It’s a Dennison case and the movement looks very clean but over the years the oil has hardened and it needs a service! Being my grandfathers I am wanting to see about getting it done professionally at a smiths rather than try it myself. It’s a nice square case, round dial with seconds sundial and is a rather small size compared to my daily wear watches. It’s about the same size as one of the trench watches I have. I will have another look later with the loup and see if I can find any other markings, but it’s a very pretty little thing.
  20. Try working in retail! It’s a pain to be fair, we have had Christmas confection, cards, toys, mince pies and such for weeks now, B&M have aisles of decorations etc too. We haven’t even got Halloween and bonfire night out of the way yet! Boxing Day each year we take delivery of Easter stuff! I kid you not! It’s all mad and sales focused. You would be surprised how many folk who shop are dead against how soon the Christmas goods hit the shelves. It’s not right in my book. I think Christmas stock should start around the last week of november! Fireworks 3-5th nov and 30-31st dec. and Easter eggs for no more than 2 week before Easter too! This is the consensus of MANY people who just go in wanting to do a weeks shop. Many folk find no joy in Christmas any longer after losing people close to them. It can be a painful time of year! And animals that suffer from fireworks going off months before bonfire night! We have had them going off here for over a week already! My Scrooge hat is well and truly stuck on my head
  21. I don’t put any feed out for birds until the trees are bare and there is snow on the ground!
  22. I had a family friend telling me there are no such thing as clouds as they are all chemical trails since WW2, and new street lighting is killing people! 🙄
