Speaking to my mate who shoots with me.He’s on the shoot at least twice a week shooting mostly the black stuff .He said this last few weeks he’s seen a few about .Try and get down this week looking good for rabbit casserole.

Remember going in a gun shop in Farnworth early 60s.The guy who ran the shop was Duggy Nabs .Always had something interesting.in the window was a single tolley 8 bore and a box of cartridges .£35 .He came over asked if I wanted to buy it .He said you can get it on the drip if you can put £5 down .I got the bus home went round to my mates .We managed to raise £5 between us .Got the bus back the gun had been sold.😩

Talking of shooting times I have all the shooting times from the 70s a pile of over 4feet. My mate has all from the 60s.

Snipe were about the first thing I ever shot.Nota lot of game about were I could shoot in them days .I was still at school.I had a 16 bore. With very little. Choke in the first barrel I walked them up with my gun mounted .I always shot very quick and I did quite well.

Why pick a dog with a hard mouth.I don’t think there’s any cure.I had a springer for 13 years he was a good dog except for the hard mouth .My springers mouth is so soft.

Lady I know has 2 foxes in her garden . They have a den they’ve been digging the garden up.She’s going to mix garlic and curry and sprinkle it around garden .Just wants them moving shootings the last resort. Can you still get Renadin ? Any ideas.

When your ready to start reloading .let me know the powder your going to us and I will sort you some loads.If you use new cases just in one gun shouldn’t need to resize. De and re capping easy to make scales and a RTO and your ready to go.

Would be quite easy to reload with basic hand tools.That’s the way I would go.

The service in curry’s is absolute rubbish .that’s not just my experience.I’ve been kept waiting while they finish chatting.Took things back and asked questions about electrical items they were unable to answer. It’s as though the staff have not had any training.So why is that in your opinion a stupid statement??
