  5. Could be right to go with a water pump check and change. Have you tried the "Penny Trick " ?? For those with a squelling belt even after renewing the damper/tensioner unit/bearing , try the 9 o`clock penny trick. Slacken off the single stud nut on tensioner , tease it forwards slightly with a good screwdriver/prybar, Place a 1p coin at the 9 o`clock position between tensioner body and engine case, hold penny in place and retighten stud nut. Hey presto, no more squeek I know , it worked on mine

    Kelly Kettle

kelly kettle is a brill bit of kit, never travel without mine for a quick good hot cuppa and cooking, no gas purchases needed. I tend to squirrel away (excuse the pun) a large bag of dry fir cones to use as fuel for the burner. The fir cones fit nicely down the neck to top up the fire and light and burn easily when firing it up with a few twigs and a little tissue paper/bogroll (used or unused  ) Belly button fluff works well too to spark it up

  10. How many miles from new ? Are you the 1st owner keeper ? Might be worth a phone call you your nearest dealer , trouble is -it`s a wear + tear item but worth a phone call ,,,,,, see below : The vehicle manufacturer has issued a technical bulletin regarding the clutch noise issues and premature clutch wear on the above models. In cases where a customer has complaints of: - Slipping Clutch - Noise from clutch during stop and go conditions - Abnormal smell from clutch A service directive has been issued to replace the original clutch kit with a larger diameter clutch assembly. Exclamation The original 180mm clutch will now be replaced with a larger 190mm clutch kit. Exclamation PSA Peugeot Citroen however are adamant that there is no problem with the clutch. Even though the law states that if a product is not fit for purpose then it must be replaced or refunded free of charge.

    gloves

I use a thin pair of Geo Logic Dak Grass camo gloves and a pair of sealskins as as extra outer when cold , warm as toastie, and a zippo hand warmer slipped in for those real extra cold days. The Geo Logics I bought from a Decathlon sports store while on one of my trips en-France . They have some cool gear in those big superstores at good prices too. As you guess, the French are well into their weekend hunting shooting , so offer lots of good gear easily available, and that includes some ammo there too. No good to you there i know, but google might help or a friend going on hols could help out. piccies :
