    Bank charges

Might be a complete coincidence, but within 2 hrs of receiving the spam email, I received a communication from my bank asking me to check that I was still registered for the free perks, which I didn't register for in the first place. Andy

    Bank charges

I know it's spam, ie unsolicited. What I was asking was, is there any truth in it? Andy

    Bank charges

I've received an email from a no win no fee outfit, suggesting the monthly charge for a current account, which includes stuff you didn't ask for, eg breakdown cover etc is not legal and the banks have to repay such charges. Anyone know anything about this? Andy
  4. Last one for one I did in cambs only took a week. I went and collected it from the firearms office Andy
  5. Where in the country are you? Andy
  6. My lad does a fair bit of goat shooting on hill ground, and although he has bigger and smaller calibres he always takes his 270 with a swaro z6i bt scope, and of course a good range finder with inclinometer. He has shot them out to 450 yds with this set up.

    .410 wanted

I'm looking for a 410 top lever single barrel shot gun for my grandson. Condition not too important as long as it's safe. I've already got wabbitbosher on the case, but if he doesn't come up trumps, anyone got anything that might suit? Andy
  8. If you're getting the 204 for the advertised high velocity, get a long barrelled one. The 20" barrels will only give you around 3800 fps not 4200 fps as advertised Andy
  9. I wouldn't recommend it, but I once microwaved a wallet that my wife put in the washing machine. It was hilarious, it shrunk to about a quarter of its original size. Andy
  10. No .17 collet. Smallest is 20 which I had to buy extra. There is a .22 and 8 more bigger ones. It weighs 1.4 kg so probably quite expensive to post. Andy I assume by collet you mean neck insert?
  11. Yes, I've got one, collect from PE7, let's say one third of new price. Andy

  13. Look on you tube at breaking into a digital safe. It put me off buying a cheapie Andy
  14. I think it is only illegal to release alien species back into the wild. Andy
  15. My daughters two labs are called Trumpet and Pancake. I bought a trained lab two years ago called Pink, which has gradually morphed to Stinky. Andy
  16. Drywall screws are all Phillips no.2 Andy
  17. I went to halfords last night for a disco headlight bulb. Buy a pair he said, cheaper. Ok. £16.99. Called at tescos filling station on the way home and noticed a rack of light bulbs. Exactly the same bulb was £3.49. Last time I go to halfords for anything !! Ever !! Andy
  18. Brilliant bit of kit. Takes about five seconds to trim and chamfer a case. I run my cases through every time I reload, even when only neck sizing. Never found the need to lubricate or adjust anything, just brush the swarf off the cutters and die very occasionally I use it for 204, 22/250, 243, 270 and 300 win mag. Of all my bits of kit, I would say it is the biggest single time saver I've got. Andy
  19. Around here viral heamoragic disease is a bigger killer of rabbits than mixy. Seems to kill about 90 percent or more within a couple of weeks of seeing the first dead rabbit. They just sit still and gradually die over about 4 hours. Andy
  20. Sounds like it could be a sticking or faulty thermostat Andy
  21. Good shooting, what calibre and bullet weight is it? Andy
  22. I've noticed one or two people saying it's illegal to release foxes back into the wild, I think it's only alien species that can't be released Andy
  23. Which tube is in it? Do you have the certificate for the tube? Where are you? Cheers. Andy
  24. I wouldn't use too much or you'll lose the grip between case and chamber, the very reason you clean any case lube off. Andy
  25. I bought a part trained picking up lab bitch a couple of years ago. She was already called Pink. To save a lot of pee taking and to look a bit harder, I must admit that her name has gradually morphed to Stinky. (She is a little darling though and still called Pink at home) Andy
