  1. Can't see b all after having someone shine a light in there eye's.
  2. I would have removed the ceiling boarding and replaced them and have then reskimmed, you would have then noticed if there was damp behind from leaking roof. That would rule that problem out and given a good finish on the ceiling. Then checked for damp lower down the walls, wast water pipes from the sink and bath/shower. Having sorted out the possible causes then fit ventilation fan

    FOX CUBS

Most round my bits were sorted early while still embryos, ;-) out Tuesday night see if anything is about.
  4. Gun as in what rifle shot gun Rifle--- check the bore is clean, run a couple of patches through with a cleaner followed by dry ones.
  5. Not got over my side of the Trent then. Its a tad strange that only one is seen but no other signs, i may not have heard though.
  6. Its more important to have a good quality glass rather than magnification, i have a 3-12x50 on a 30.06 a 4-14 on 22.250 and also on a HMR then a bit OTT 5-30x50 on another 22.250 its only used anywere near 30 on days but when the light begins to fade even top glass starts to fail as you wind the mag up, not really the glass but the light transmision is greatly reduced at high mag. HMR i would say 3-12 is ideal
  7. Your the man for the job Nick If its a big one just let me know i'm sure the mighty would love to oblige
  8. First ive heard of that one you say BOT your end or other end, they leave very disinctive signs behind
  9. Might be a bit costly, well i mean unless you can get the stump over to them it may work out a bit cheaper but then it wouldnt be an issue. But what you mean is you can get stump grinders, HSS do them and possibly Travis Perkins for around £100 for weekend, but you will still need to get down a bit to lay a base so digging will still need to be done. Unless of course you raise the base.
  10. Digging out by hand will be a long job, can you get a mini digger to it apart from that not much else just hard graft, spade and crow bar axe and sweat. Waiting for it to rot away is obviously dependant on you when want your concrete base down for the work shop
  11. OK ! Which one of you was walking round with there Davy Crockett hat on It was worth a go just to have a chat with Mike Eveliegh, and buy a couple of nice scotch eggs
  12. Get a big wacker and keep wacking away, for future reference (laughs) get someone to record you using it for tbe 1st time. They WILL go where they want lol
  13. Get some practice with your 223 and take those rabbits out at 250yards +. Are you loading your own What twist is it can you go heavier bullet wise??? You have a rifle use it, the more you do the better you will become, enjoy, just make sure your safe doing so. PS, head shots on bunnies with your 223 should be more than possible, get consistent with that range then stretch out a little.
  14. Got one in the mighty 30.06 super rifle accurate and super fast action ;-) may be on the market soon
  15. Now then, I'm not sure of your age, its actually irrelevant, but I'll try and explain. In the olden days when you used to go to the old fashioned "barber's" the type that had the red and white wurly thingy that was supposed to represent the blood on the towel's from blood letting ( sorry diverting off topic) were was I,,, yes, vp90. After you'd had you're short back and side's you were asked if you wanted cream on it, or sometimes spray ;-). Well vp90 is much the same, it just puts the top on and it smells beautiful too. I aways put some on mine. ;-)
  16. I'll bring the chainsaw. Lol. Only joking Carl ;-) I will try and find a munty to hack up too.
  17. Nice to see you're still out and about FB.
  18. Poo too late, just waiting for one to be delivered today. Have one all ready must say they are very good.
  19. LOL so you got your 4 round spades going well for you. ;-) I had a quick lesson, if you're heading into deep doo doo make sure you can cope, and dont think ghat spinning those spades round any quicker is guaranteed to get you out. I reckon I've dropped 5 mpg but change to toad tyre's in ghe dryer months. I have Hankook mt on my Pickup 30,000 miles and still ok, obviously the treads worn down but still good.
  20. Mine get a generous coating of Fox blood and rabbit guts, seems to keep them looking shiny and keeps them waterproof.
  21. Do a search for "steve kershaw firearms" or Dave Wild Valkyrie rifles either I can recommend and both speak well if each other,. unlike b&bs They will both be honest with you and won't let you down. its a pity I'm on night's I would have met up over a beer, im only 10 minutes away enjoy the show.
  22. +1 Fetched my rifle back after being fed on munure week after week, how can a rifle be at the proof house awating collection if its not even there, how can a barrel be being fitted if he has not even got one. His excuses were unbelievable, and out of sequence. If he had not lied to me he would have had the money for the job, and no doubt a good job would have been done, dont get me wrong he has a good following from satisfied customers. but i will not tollerate being lied to. Steve Kershaw or Dave Wild both fantastic work and honest people.
  23. You say your having issues with concentricity, what are you measuring it with, and how much out are the rounds if you out by that much you can see with just your naked eye then i would have thought there are other issues like dies or shell holder. If its out by only a little 0.005 i wouldnt worry, from the bullets your loading its not a target load. Full length the whole neck as well not just partially.
  24. Yes and it hurts the opponent "HEAD SHOTS DONT COUNT" Oh! yes they do Got this lad in the gonads years ago, shouted to the marshell "Kill Check" The reply from a female marshell,,, "Yes he's down" Brilliant
