  2. Looks nice, not what i expected, not saying the original stock didnt look nice. It looks simalar to the stock on my Tikka, Hope the weather stays good for you, its cracking down here at the moment.
  3. PW, I call upon the experience of those who use any video editing gizmo's on a PC, which one do you recommend, free if possible and easy to use,. Thanks.
  4. Quite possibly, i remember back in the days when you could safely spend all day, i mean 9am till 5pm, out making dens or digging huge holes in fields and covering them up with grass and twigs to catch things ( all they used to do was probably break some poor souls ankle) I remember the times i would get a good clip round the back of my head if i got in after dark, and allways come out with the same excuse, "we got lost" which there were times we actually did get lost. Anyone who didnt go out playing were in those days labled as funny duddy's or strange kids,. It just seems ironic that now we think the opposite sometimes.
  5. Why is it freaky In the olden days freaks would have been people that stopped in most of the day doing silly things on little light box's called computer's playing pretend war games. It seems that people spending time outside in the fresh air being adventurous get labled "Freaks" or "weirdo's"
  6. Ian Paice, "Made in Japan " one of my favorite albums
  7. It may not be possible, but i would give them notice and find another nursery, if as you say you have been paying on time for the last 3 years i would tell them to swivel. its disgusting !!! pure greed

If anyone says they bone out a lamb ( sheep) in that time is farting from the wrong orifice. I would love to have there bone bag.
  9. Anyway, for those who can understand my English, they tasted ok. I'll go for raised beds next year . It could improve my parsnips and carrots.
  10. Its not all that bad, it means I can add another rifle to the cabinet if I feel the need to go over to France for a bit of piggie shooting ;-)
  11. It would be far more beneficial for the country if the HS2 funds were spent on the allready existing infrastructure,. At the moment there are too many area's of our existing rail that have speed restrictions put them, up date and maintain that so our existing high speed trains can run to there potential speed over a longer distances. 20 minute's would be a doddle to save.. We have the oldest rail track on the planet reaching over12000 miles, why waste money on a new one
  12. Gutted roast beef and these efforts for parsnips, they look more like something out of Dr Who whats up the them any ideas

    Decent Flask

unlucky, Step Dad had an old Stanley flask (40 year's+ old) The top, stopper broke, it was sent back to Stanley the replaced the stopper together with an up to date flask of simalar size. And all free of charge. That's customer service. Just to add, these have been in business for just over 100 years.
  17. Sell them on and put the money towards a decent pair of wellies Aigle. Some nice colours too. And good size calfs

  19. Hello Mr Wanderer, you have a 75 nice , i hope you eventually get it sorted out, i can highly recomend getting some Lapua cases, i got some from a very helpfull member off here after he recomended them to me once at Catton, i fully intend on getting some more now. Even if i have to go and pick them up What twist is it i take it you have gone for a 12 or 10, i have not long had one done in a 1-12 and it likes the 53grn vmax but i'm guessing you are intending to go long range with it Just clocked you Sako, looks nothing like mine does it but tell you what it looks bloody good. I understand how you felt with regards to being fed BS i was treated the same by another outstanding smith, We (a mate of mine had his done too)dropped them off for re-barrels and were told its not a problem as we have barrels in stock, a hand then waved down showing us the barrels, yes lads one of these will bo going on yours. Brill we thought. Months passed and i gave them a ring, "hello, yes there at the proof house it will be a couple of weeks" fine i did ask if i could pick them up as i was nearer to Brum, but no they had to go back to make sure every thing was spot on, OK no prob. Rang back after 2 weeks and we were told they hadnt even got the barrels in yet they were waiting for them from Border. I rang border who hadnt even had the order from B&BS Strange that, story all seemed to be mixed up.. Picked them up after being sitting in a strong room for nearly 5 months collecting dust, he wasnt a happy chappy at all specially after he was told he was a BS itter and if he could cope with the work he should have said in the first place. It wasnt Steve Kershaw or Dave Wild, they have both given me exellent service Dave was the chap who ended up with the job in this case
  20. We have a Hunter 8 with back boiler, it does 5 rads and heats the water. As has been said it does take heat from the fire itself but if it didnt it would be far too warm in the room that its in, and to be honest we are glad we made the choice of the back boiler. And as far as burning pallets goes, they dont cost me a penny apart from little time cutting them up, no they wont stay in over night but thankfully at the moment we are both fit and well enough to get up once in a while to chuck a few bits on now and again If you need it to stay in over night then obviously you need some good solid logs putting on before you close it down.
  21. You still need to notify insurance. It's still a motoring offence whether you do the course or not.
  22. MBW expect to get some doo doo from work but hang in there, if you loose your job through this by your wally gaffer you stand a very very good chance of winning a case for unfair dismissal, from the information you are giving he's no legs to stand on, breaking various codes of practice re H&S regs. You certainly don't mess with those regs and expect to be let off lightly. Just completed a NEBOSH and it's frightening as a supervisor, further up the ladder its worse if you don't comply with the acts.
  23. Battery's flat in my camera, it fired up then shut down immediately, not happy :-( Weather's kept me in and work when the weather's been good. I can sort out the camera but not the other problems.
  24. I think i would rather be at work Its not for me just the sight of some of those rides make me feel sick, years ago i went on a pirate ship felt really bad and lost a load of money out of my pockets, the girl friend at the time told me it would be better for me at the back
