  1. Quick release rings and mounts mod # 50050 Off a Howa, these are compatible with Weatherby mk 5 plus some Remington,s £45.00 ono
  2. You've spent s fair bit on the torch why compromise
  3. Why not get them from the suppliers of NM ? You may not be covered by warranty using substandard cheap replacements.
  4. It happened to a pub near me a few years ago, The bloke did time for fraud and deception after borrowing a customers car (he befriended her, very cunningly) Oh! and emptying the safe.not long after finishing his holiday inside he did another place, and did very similar to previous. The wally that took him on was made aware of his history, but believed everyone deserves another chance in life, LOL Some folk just dont deserve to be mixing within normal honest society's
  5. Lol I was expecting some long shots Pete "This ones 120yards" I had to play it back I thought I miss heard, I was expecting 220 yards,,, It sure beats stopping in watching the box. By the look at your loading there good groups I see no reason why you shouldn't push out to 200 + , I was out Thursday evening and tried to video some longish 350 ish but kept auto focusing on twigs in a tree, got the rabbits though. Glad your getting use out of the tripod
  6. Yes it was. A pump that had been isolated, the paper work ( work order) had been filed as complete. The pump had been reinstated. Permission from senior management could have prevented the catastrophe but nobody dare take responsibility due to loosing production. Greed killed all those people, very sad. Those that did survive thought they were jumping to a certain death from what they were informed . H&S laws changed dramatically from that incident.
  7. Nice one. . Its all a bit high round here at the mo.. can't wait til they start mowing, I should be out sorting a few cubs out. Your happy with it then ;-)
  8. What I do is get a bullet of the weight specified, say 50grains and keep checking the scale now and again as I go.
  9. Screw fix have a collapsible work bench looks pretty good for the price.
  10. Afraid to say it's not just cyclists that don't bother to indicate. I think if folks can't be bothered to indicate then they should loose them, by however means. A baseball bat will suffice.
  11. You do need to clean a bit of the paint work to get the suckers to suck, but once there on they stay pretty well. Thanks again to BSA airgunner
  12. Just knocked this up this afternoon. It gives me a more robust rest rest by extra support, but could not have done it without the tip/idea from you to start with. It was a walking frame for the disabled.---------------------------------they got better. Its adjustable too so you can raise the rest and also reduce the gap between the inner pads and the exterior. Thanks. Thats better you can see now
  13. Theres a fair few shooters in my local, and there isn't one that will send there dog out on crow's because of that reason. But very good shooting though, I wish I could bag that amount
  14. More likely to be damaged through incorrect cleaning methods I think, ie damaged chamber or crown.
  15. My Boss and i went fishing on the Dove after Barbel, i had very little tackle as we were on the move just enough, most of it was in a waist coat i have with god knows how many pockets. My boss who is 6" 6 and about 20stone had his Diawa Box , whilst he went up stream spotting for Barbel i put a load of very large stones in his seat box, i mean they were BIG. They had been in there for weeks before he noticed, and we had been fishing loads of times and i really thought he would have realised that his box was a little on the heavy side.
  16. From looking at the rifles you have, i would only clean the HMR. Just a tip that i have found is to patch through with acetone last thing then a dry patch,i have found its bob on after. But i do use my CF every week weather permitting of course so they are not standing too long without use. Stripping the rifle down for me is when i get bored from not being able to get out, which is not very often thankfully
  17. Cant be moaning too much with that
  18. If i were you next time i should try turning the rifle the right way, it seems to me you have used it upside down. Apart from that silly mistake its a good group
  19. Are 22lr silent when dry fired (sorry another silly comment from me. But hey!!!) NO they aint, so why would firing a bullet that needs a small amount of powder and lets not forget a little bit of lead styphnate to start it all in motion make it even quieter. You can moderate the noise from a 17HMR muzzle better by using mod different than a Sak.
  20. I wonder if "Snotty" could give a good answer on this subject, He was into Cannons from what i remember of him, Oh! and grass !!! it could lead to me taking back some of the things i said about him after he got us kicked off Bisley Range. Only some things mind
  21. Done a good job on that. I went out on one of mine the other night, guess what, not a Fox in sight. Must be doing a good job Will check out some of the other areas this coming week.
  22. The noise that's heard down range is considerably less that what you hear whilst firing the rifle moderated. Down range with the mod off you will certainly know the difference.
  23. Dougy

    Bindweed

There are quite a few types of "round-up" Most are not aware, like on here.. But the type from your local garden centre are as said like water in comparison.
  24. The sheets I used are from Whickes. Marine ply painted with bitumen then felt then topped using corrugated sheets. May not be the same but sounds like them.
