Agree with most of that ^ though. Not all systems need to be powerflushed though which is why the manufacturers Benchmark only asks if the system was flushed, in a clean system then a standard chemical clean and flush is plenty.

******** mate. If it's a new installation then yes, you need to comply with much of what you are saying although the upstairs zone is only if you have more than 150 sq metres floor area. Existing systems must have TRV's on the bedroom rads, full controls (room/cylinder 'stat as required, timer if required and control valves if required) and a boiler interlock. That's it. Flushing is a manufacturers requirement not Building control but has to be done anyway as an installation requirement. The installer will need to flush/inhibit it before he can sign it off and if it's not signed off it can affect the warranty validity, personally I'd suggest you let the installer do it as part of the install.

Vet bedding is very good, a definite second recommendation for that. I have to say that giving them just a wooden board is in my opinion a bit harsh, even in the wild they'll find somewhere comfortable to bed down.

LOL, yeah, spend £1400+ to get another boiler fitted when you've already paid someone to fix it. If it's a reputable engineer they'll come back and sort it, it may need further parts, but certainly not 1400 quids worth. To be honest, it can only be one of a small number of things and a competent engineer will sort it pretty easily. Oh yeah, and if it comes to it, DON'T get a Gloworm, they're no better than what you have, Vaillant and Worcester Bosch consistently fight it out in the Which? magazine tests for good reason, they are a cut above.

Probably be cheaper to post two together mate, quite happy to share the cost of postage and packaging. Let me know, thanks.

If the diverter valve has been changed then the diff pressure switch diaphragm is usually part of that so you need to confirm that was the case. If so then the engineer should have verified that the microswitch is being actuated, basically the diaphragm operates a plunger on a pin which moves to depress the microswitch. If this is occurring then it's a case of then checking that the power is being switched through this microswitch, if that is working it is coming back to the PCB, but that is new so.... ...coming back to the plunger and pin, IF that isn't moving, you need to have serious words with your engineer, I now of several cases recently where people have been charged for a diverter valve where in reality it's been stripped and had a new diaphragm fitted.

If you change your mind about posting I'll take a two 6v ones.

Can anyone describe the method of breaking a birds neck cleanly, or perhaps point the way to a link that can? Have never had anyone able to competently show me, as a result I tend to use a priest when required.

Pigeon shooting available

Jsu been through the March 2012 issue and can't find either. Would you be good enough to PM the details and ad content of the Sussex club please. -
Hats off to Deershooter, that's a truly positive attitude and to be commended. Sealskinz socks are very good. Have used them on the marsh this winter and have to say that while my feet have got cold, they never got cold to the point of numbness...which they have with everything else I've tried. Next year I'm going for motorcyclists heated socks as I hate cold feet though!!!

Well if it's not eastern Europeans it must be those traveler types, CAN'T be anyone else shirley?

The Hunter Jacket is a decent bit of kit. Well thought out, and as said it is waterproof etc...only more time will tell re longevity.

 Yeah, because he's not a well documented lunatic or anything like that obviously.

You NEED to be able to consistently head shoot whatever the quarry is mate, regardless of calibre. Air rifles are all about accuracy due to the fact they don't have a surfeit of power. Oh yeah, .177 for me too and most of my shooting is hunting.

New BASC film: an introduction to wildfowling.

Wherever it is you'll have to be quick, season ends on Monday until next September. -
Yep, a winter fly fisher I am too. Find it very enjoyable with the bonus of catching a meal, or tow, or three... ...anyway, it's too chuffing cold to be sat stationary on the bankside at this time of year, you need to be active o keep warm, and with the fly cast you are always keeping warm!

I like that I do, something I intend to be doing a lot more of next season....and maybe over the next couple of days left of this season. -
I used them all of last year for hunting and targets and to be honest I can't fault them. That said I've just bought an Ultra that was blueprinted and the recommended pellet was the Bisley magnum, so, I've been trying them. I have to say that they are also a very accurate, consistent pellet which being a bit heavier (10.6 gr), should have very good stopping power. I don't think the drop is excessive in comparison, you just need to spend time on the range to work out your aim points.

To get land to shoot over, plain and simple. Fairly quickly established that it wasn't going to be quite that easy! Stayed for the wealth of information, the moments of pure comedy gold and not least for feeling of camaraderie this place engenders. Not met any other PW'ers as yet, but I'm sure that's only a matter of time, unless I HAVE got it right and everyones avoiding me!!!

This was an issue for me, I ended up looking at the sight and not the target. Took it off and never refitted it. Oh, and as said it doesn't work at dusk or later on the marsh, not enough light!

You have PM

Yep, I'd definitely be interested subject to cost, and I'm in the South East. I think that potentially, once you get a few people trying it, it will self advertise if any good.

Once upon a time maybe, w-a-a-a-y too heavily policed to get spirited on now.

Crazy state of affairs! Why we can't just ship him outta here I do not know! Even if it's a 'unofficial' Hercules to Jordan in the black of night, just get him the Hell out of this country!
