  1. Apparently they will come in a 12g and 20g so if convention is followed the yellow one should be 20g
  2. WHAT A COINCIDENCE...I SEEM TO HAVE THE OPPOSITE PROBLEM. I'VE HAD THIS dELL LAPTOP FOREVER AND ALL IT EVER TYPES IS CAPITALS. MAYBE WE COULD GET TOGETHER AND I'LL DO THE CAPITALS AND YOU CAN DO THE LOWERCASE.
  3. We're on Cocker number 4. None of them have had 'sensible' names but all seemed to fit quite well.. Deefer, Doogie, Dipstick and now Ditto. There may be a pattern there.... ;-)

  5. Have you considered a pump? Less than £400 gets you a camo'd up SXP brand new.
  6. I only shoot clays, mostly with my Maxus but when I got the M37 I used that for while. Took me exactly 2 rounds to get back to the score I was shooting with the Maxus. Partly, I think, because the M37 feels so well in the hands. Once I mastered (read remembered) to 'pump' between shots, I was hitting just as much with the fixed half choke M37 as with my multi choke Maxus.
  7. A friend is in exactly the same boat, same area and same waiting times...unless this is you, in which case you know that already :-)
  8. Key security is a thorny old issue and there is no 'standard' advice. Carry one on you and the other should be locked in an approved safe, three miles below ground, in a secure military bunker, guarded by hounds from one of the more pestilential pits of hell. (Although, please ensure these have no access to the actual keys, you wouldn't want to get into trouble) and if you can house this facility on another planet, in another galaxy...or better yet, another dimension I think even the most hardened Firearms officer will concede these precautions are 'probably' adequate! ;-)
  9. Burn him, burn the heretic. :-)
  10. I have a Maxus Gd2 Hunter and the Mrs has a Maxus Gd3 Hunter, both in 12g and the Mrs also has a 20g Hatsan Escort that she started with. In our shooting group there are around 5 Maxus shooters and we also use a Browing Gold Sporting clays from time to time. All of them will cycle loads down to 21g but none of them will cycle a 65mm cart reliably. 67mm are fine but 65s just wont work so we simply avoid them. Fortunately, there are lots of 70mm shells available to choose from. I use Eley Olympics and the Mrs prefers Gamebore Evos.
  11. Mine has its plug in even when in the cabinet. It's just never occurred to me to take it out really. It won't do any harm stored that way so whatever you're comfortable with.
  12. Ithaca M37 (which is basically a BPS) also loads from underneath and ejects down but is a pump action. UGB as mentioned but 2 shot hybrid and a bit odd/marmite.
  13. Another great day and another great shoot, thanks to Alan and the team and to the Deadly plumber and Billy for the great company.
  14. Derrick set up the suspension on my old race bike and straightened out my frame after a crash and Dave Thorpe gave me a set of his handle bars. Top fellas.
  15. Give him a fake paypal address and the address of the local police station for pickup :-)
  16. Are you in a virgin cable area? If you are phone them back to confirm the switch off date so you know when to get virgin in to fit your cable. You'll be at retentions with a deal before you know it.
  17. I shot my Maxus with 1/4 choke for a year, then switched to the M37 with fixed 1/2 choke and my scores haven't changed to any great degree. Don't get too hung up on it.
  18. Welcome to the club. Pictures please.
  19. I would suspect that the cooling is kaput, that could be why it lasts three minutes, it overheats and then freezes, cools off, restarts and then repeats. If you can get into the bios, there should be somewhere in there that shows you the CPU temps, if you can find it you could at least confirm or eliminate that one. p.s. check all vents and grills on the case are clear as well.
  20. I had the same with paypal. Waste of time, in the end I 'circumvented' their security and closed the account myself. Try going into a branch perhaps but what a pain that could be.
