Why would you do that after all the hard work it would have taken to get to a position like that.
-
Ebay is your friend, i have had some very good buys with shooting gear on there over the years.
-
I have been a BASC member for some time, yes i would have liked them to be more vocal on some issues, but in general i am happy to stay with them, if they were not around, the Shooting community would miss them badly.

Some times a bad one slips through the net, i had a EELL new that gave me a lot of trouble, you pay good money so it should be right. Good luck
-
Do you still get a reminder to pay then ?

Which to buy HW100 S FSB/ BSA R10 Mk2 (Bull barrel)/ Daystate Huntsman
countryman replied to Zenduri's topic in Airgunners
i have recently brought the HW 100, it has the new Laminate stock on it, very quiet, ultra smooth loading action and looks good to. -
Sounds like you need a Toyota Hi Lux, but put the power washer under it now and again, you wont need the mud under there to hide the rust on them.

I have had 3 pairs with 1 having to go back with a bad leak, they were exchanged but was hassle to get it done. I like the boots in general and find them very comfortable once broken in, you may want to get a size bigger than you normally have as they can be a bit snug. Chris

The Ultra is a good compact gun, i use mine mainly to shoot from the cab of my pick up, it will hold its own against any other pcp. the shot count may be a bit low being a small air cylinder but is easily filled with a hand pump if you don't have a dive bottle. Chris

Back to the 70s, all my family were alive and well, and life was so much simpler back then.

Gas ram / igt rifles compare to pcp or spring
countryman replied to Rs2 springer's topic in Airgunners
Opposite for me, had a new Theoben Gas Ram and it was rubbish, bouncy to shoot and loud, mind you it was one of there last ones before they went bust. -
My Breitling Avenger Sea Wolf has more than doubled since i brought it about 9 years ago, its a serious dive watch that i regularly use for desk diving.

Picked up my Pro Sport to day, not had a new springer since 1980, it has a very nice walnut stock which does beckon for some Walnut oil. The Rifle is very accurate with a very nice Trigger, i zeroed in at 40 yards with 10 shots, even managed to put one pellet through the same hole, I would describe this gun as a modern springer with some old school in it, the build quality looks superb. I will be putting it to work on the Rabbits and Magpies soon, just need to get used to it a bit more.

I think BAR Air rifles did a test on the 2 silencers, no real difference in them, i have the new HW and that is the quietest i have ever herd, or not herd. Chris

countryman replied to Salop Matt's topic in Motoring Section
Well i am sad as i have put one in my pick up, i don't know what you mean about weirdos i have a nice new friend on there call sign Buba who wants to meet up. -
It could be Agricultural registered, so just go from field to field on the road, work use only. I had a quad on this once. Chris
-
Sounds like its had a fair few shots through it, i had a Winchester like that, you may have to live with it if the Gun is low value.
-
Just imagine if this did actually work, with all the cars keeping to the speed limit, what the hell would the Government do with out speeding fines.
-
What you got on order.
-
Its been a long time since i used a spring powered rifle, all ways use pre charged these days, but i have ordered an Air Arms Pro Sport Walnut in .22, hopefully i will pick it up this week so let the fun begin.
-
Should have kept it, i have an FWB sport that i had when i was 15 back in 1980, it never sees the light of day much but i would never part with it.
-
I was in your position last year, expect things to be quiet at home and trips down memory lane. Chris
-
I know of one Gun shop in my area that asks for your licence before he will even unlock any thing, and he is the most miserable *** you could wish to meet, i have even brought guns off of him in the past.

Can anyone offer some tips on used Defenders?
countryman replied to Munzy's topic in Motoring Section
Has your Brother in law had a 4wd before, if so he will be in for a driving shock when he climbs in the 110, basically a Ford van engine with van comforts and no doubt a pretty hefty price tag on it, get him to look at other 4wds of the same price before he commits. Chris -
Sooner or later we will get a pandemic, as has been said we have Cobra to look after us, no doubt in an isolated under ground bunker.
