That's a very clever idea you've had there! Birds wondering is a nightmare for a full time keeper let alone a part time one, we have a tenancy for a forestry commission wood and it's a nightmare as the track that you drive on through the wood also acts as a highway for wandering birds!

Be warned! I was told a story of a man who had a similar problem and was advised to load some cartridges with rice grains. When his dog ran in he gave it both barrels to try to deter it but ran past an Italian who shot the dog and said "I finish it off for you!" Now I reiterate it is just a story so hope it was made up!

Not sure if you have a dog or are in a position to have one but some people put a lot of time into that and get as much enjoyment picking up than what they do shooting.

There's an rfd down langtoft fen and I think they were £14 and there is guns & tackle in whaplode which were £12 last time I bought some.
