I've never tried it to be honest, but anything is worth a go. Thanks.

A Warning from a Barrister re Folding Pocket Knives
steve_b_wales replied to gdadphil's topic in Off Topic
When I'm out shooting, my knife/knives are kept in the boot until I reach my permission/s and opposite on the way home. -
I didn't check inside the bag, Gordon, otherwise I would have ended up buying (another) one.
-
I have mine too, plus another one that I've put away incase something breaks etc on my other one. Unlikely though.

I subscribe to the magazine and was informed that my remaining sub's will stay the same. If they increase in the future then I for one will not renew them.

I only take Co Codamol 30/500 when I need them. The strange thing is, I can walk a good few miles and only at the very end my knee starts hurting. It hurts more after sitting down for some time then getting up/ The first few steps are agonising and then it eases slightly. My work involves sitting quite a lot/getting up so this doesn't help my knee. I have suffered with constipation through taking the CoCodamol but as I said, I only take them when absolutely neccessary. When visiting my GP recently, he said that he would put me on the waiting list for a replacement knee, but it would take upwards of 5-6 years (I'm still waiting to see a NHS consultant regarding my hernia which I had 3 years ago and ended up paying privately. I could pay for a knee replacement at around £16000! I have always wondered why humans cannot have cartlidge replaced to grow, just like the Supervet does with animals.

I bought one from Saddlery gun shop and it was sent to an RFD where I collected. No extra charge for me but the RFD said that they get paid by Saddlery.

Selling on behalf of my mate. 100 of the above cases, once fired. I have deprimed them, full length resized them and wet tumbled them. £43:00 inc signed for postage.
-
These ones are much bigger (height wise) I was tempted to buy one but I have already got a brand new green one (as a spare) that I bought last year.
-
Yes they are. They are bigger than the ones sold last year (and dearer) but very good quality.
-
Has anyone got one of the above that they would like to sell please? I want to convert my CZ452 to a Picatinny rail to enable me to fit/take off a thermal scope.

HIKMICRO THUNDER 35mm Ultimate (thermal scope)
steve_b_wales replied to steve_b_wales's topic in Guns & Equipment
To be honest, I love using my Vulpine Mk3 NV with a Solaris SRX ir, but I've always fancied either a dedicated thermal scope or an add on. -
I'm on the verge of purchasing the above at a very good price (a few £100 cheaper than other dealers) and would like to know if anyone has used one, especially as a front add on? It would be mainly used on my .243 for Fox, and, if possible (I realise that I would have to adjust the settings) it would also me used on my .22LR. At present, I use a Vulpine Mk3 NV in conjunction with a Pulsar Key 30 thermal spotter, but have always wanted to own a thermal scope/add on. Any views/comment on this would be most welcome. Thanks.

The above actor has passed away.

I use Primos Gen 3. Not sure what the difference is between the Gen 2 model, but I've had these for a number of years and they have been excellent. I attached a hog saddle clamp together with a Manbily KM-0 swivel head.

Thank you for the recommendation, and I'm glad you had a successful outing. 🙂👍 -

GB firearms consultation launched
steve_b_wales replied to Conor O'Gorman's topic in General Shooting Matters
I've read it, and given my opinion. Hopefully, it will be worth something. -
Lidl are selling the fishing bags again. This time they are a lot bigger and sturdier. Ideal for cartridges etc. Priced at £24:99. This is the one they are selling. https://offers.kd2.org/en/gb/lidl/plJEa/
