Not all stainless is non magnetic some is ferrous the fack that this is non magnetic shows it is a high grade stainless and shouldnt corrode at all in theory you could run tap water through it without any issue

Sounds like maf to me check spark plug people tend to forget cars still have spark plugs if its the ford engined model (as in not volvo ) The spark plug tubes have a habit of filling up with water /oil If thats the case change plugs and leads ps fords like ngk plugs dont know why they just do
