  1. The above just about sums up the state of the agricultural organisations as well. Very very well said.
  2. Not a chance, they said that with the 17HMR ammunition 15 years ago, more than doubled now. I fear the “cheap” £15 a box for a far inferior cartridge is as good as it will get.
  3. I don’t know many if any farmers who allow plastic wads though and the BioWads are to me to expensive to shoot crows and pigeons.
  4. I'd hazard a guess we pay a considerable sum per/1000 for there sponsers to have free/cheap shells for a year.
  5. I was not too many years ago given by accident, the wholesale price list for RC cartridges, buying at £200ish/1000 selling for £260/1000
  6. Endorsed by Sir Ian Botham I believe. A Livestock Farmer we know uses them everyday as work boot swears by them.👍
  7. Gamebore did this with the Original Clear Pigeon, brillant back in the 90s utter garbage now
  8. If your talking about Fiocchi Sporting Pigeon 32 have used loads of em, brilliant shells on pigeons and crows, cheap and recycled all the auto's i've had. Also a thumbs up for the 20 gauge GFL 28g's in 6s. just some times hard to get.
  9. No no... merely trying to illustrate the stupidity of all this ban everything culture we now have
  10. Have they banned plastic. Now name one confirmed instance, not tittle tattle hear say, were lead has killed anybody. CONFIRMED CASE
  11. I know for a fact that there is a huge component shortage for all cartridge manufacturers, but without causing panic it does look likely there maybe a shortage of all cartridges this summer. Overheads are mounting i'm afaid.
  12. We can pick up twice that amount of plastic left in numerous farm gate ways after every weekend won’t ban Maccy D and the like from using there plastic or Tesco etc. sandwich wrappers where your trades men clear the van out. Just saying, gone a bit of topic 🙄. Coincidentally we don’t use plastic wads on our shoot
  13. Name me one instance when anything has come to harm from anything to do with plastic !
  14. text.txtSteel shot game opens up a new markets to Europe apparently
  15. The 7 or 8 orgs. Waitrose etc. It was there selling point.
  16. NO..... i'll wager you no more game has been sold this year than the previous 20 years
  17. I guess we are both correct. It would be interesting to know how both a RFD and Longthorne's would handle this, my guess Longthorne's wouldn;t have a leg to stand on if you purchased it through a RFD and would be resovled by now. My opinion is you has all the rights and a court would probarbly find in your favour. But could be wrong, I sincerly hope you get it resolved in you favour. I can't see how they can justify there behaviour.
  18. I think that when you buy anything, particularly new your contract is with who ever took your money and that is who you return it too with any faults or defects. Maybe firearms are different.
  19. Would be interesting to see how this would be handled if you'd purchased the guns form a dealer, i'm sure THEY would be responsible all the false under warranty then claim it back from Longthorne.
  20. What choke are you putting them through please
  21. I would not let any of those clowns look after a window box
  22. I have long flush fitting Teagues in my Miroku and was thinking of getting two quarters for steel and wondered if they were worth the extra money
