  1. this is what the BBC have released about ibuprofen. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/51929628
  2. jokers are a great cartridge the last ones i bought were £5.45 a box or rather bag. They do come in fibre, plas wads are orange fibre are blue. I have been using the fibre on everything from pigeons to pheasant. The only trouble I have with them is getting a constant supply as at that price they don't stay on the shelves long.
  3. Yes the Independent are really going all out with that one especially with the cute, cub photos. But its a bit odd isn't it how this man wants to continue his way of life but broadcasts videos of himself dispatching foxes with a pick axe handle. Not to mention a snare illegally laid in a hedgerow next to a road??
  4. Here's the backlash I was fearing this man might encourage. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/fox-killer-fur-snare-trap-trade-wales-newport-david-sneade-a9373486.html
  5. think its working now
  6. Having watched this I can nothing wrong with him doing what he does. After all if the foxes weren't out there he wouldn't catch them. I do understand he is proud of his way of life but as a man who has been snaring for 50 years, he must have come across a lot of opposition to his activities. so going on the BBC who are renown for its anti views seems a bit kamikaze. I hope he gets as much support as he does Flak for doing this article but I fear he has just brought a whole load of bad attention his way. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-51708647
  7. I have a Deerhunter, Muflon Jacket that is coming on, four years old now. I wear it for work and everything else and is still water tight. when it filthy I just machine wash with Nikwax although I am not convinced Nikwax actually does anything. this jacket has had a pounding and is still going strong. I have no experience with Ridgeline but have heard a few saying the leak abit especially the smocks but like I say that is second hand info.
  8. Oh you lucky thing enjoy your prize Not ENTER
  9. You just beat me to it Ben I think its all like him a cunning stunt!!!

Just got in from doing a bit of work over in Clun, the rain in the last hour has been biblical. the rivers are not as high as they were back at the end of October but it is still tipping it down.
  12. Yes very well done to Rachel, she held her cool magnificently. I personally think all the vegan spokespeople should take a leaf out of his book, the more we see of that on TV the more credibility those self-righteous dictators loose. That miserably little man has dealt a massive blow to veganism, judging by the online headlines of the majority of the News papers.
  13. As well as the ones above I also use Metcheck the site has lots of different forecast models to look at.
  14. yes it s not a nice sight. I have seen it a few times over the years whilst repairing downed power lines it takes a surprisingly small amount of current to kill cows and horses due to the step potential (distance between legs).
  15. this + if they did all crash into the ground surely there would be as many wounded birds struggling around. but no reports of any wounded, it looks like whatever hit them, killed everyone it hit.
  16. I watched half of it this morning and was going to watch the rest tonight
  17. She's going to cash in at Christmas with this one I am sure.
  18. Its ok she has been found going round all the Army Bases looking for General Election.
  19. Well we have certainly has a lot of weather this week
  20. Thanks Raja yes he has got some catching up to do. he is from a local mother and a German sire. The breeder spent a lot of time searching for a low hip score He is an absolute stunner
  21. I have discounted poison as they would have all, had to digest the same amount at the same time to fall as they did. power lines, again seems impossible as they are only small birds so only perch on one phase at a time so no amount of fault current would affect them. I cant wait to hear what the BBC post mortem reveals.
