Very nice, while you were threatening the poor gun ( I'm not sniggering 🤭) was it not saying it's the pellet, the pellet 😅😅 Don't forget to factor in the temperature and the wind direction, I really do think they sometimes stay in bed when it's cold, especially if there is a cold east wind.

Well I had a busy morning, I was out and set up later than planned, it was already light as i headed for my pallets, what a difference sitting a little higher makes. Umbrella and camo net set up, a handful of nuts on the ledge and I was ready at 8:01, at 8:06 the first squirrel was down, he just wandered in and sat up with a nut from the floor that the birds had spilled, JSB heavy side on and he rolled over right under the feeder. 8:20 and another is cautiously making it's way in, not happy about the dead squirrel on the floor, I know the time because I was looking at the dead squirrel with the thermal. This one went up to the feeder then a little higher with plenty of tail flicking, he seemed to be looking straight at me, but settled, Pfft whack 2nd on the floor, which lead to all hell breaking loose, I think there were two squirrels barking, I couldn't make out either, so I just waited. 8:31 and down he comes from the right, very not happy yet on he comes, twitching, barking, up and down. He was half hiding, calling then just stopped and moved forward a touch pffft whack number three is down, I reckon 25 minutes and three males down, they were all a good size but the bottom one in the picture was a beast. As they fell. There wasn't much seed left in the feeder but they came in, only one got near a nut, but he didn't finish it. I checked the other feeders, I saw two but they saw me, so they get a pass today. Nice work mate, I've found another spot which is definitely warmer at BIG wood, its just further to walk, but hey ho. And I say good dog 😂😂

Have you got a trail camera? It would be a good idea to set a camera up so your not disturbing things to check the trap, happy hunting.

I think they are just happy eating what's on the floor still, I watched one go straight past a feeder today, didn't even glance at it. But another area and they were queuing up to get on it. Another cold week this week, so that might make them want the easy food.

Fantastic 🤣🤣 Absolutely, England looked clueless, commentator said Farrell hadn't played for two months, not sure about the other players. I'm not sure if England managed three passes? I know they want to pressure the opposition by pegging them back and forcing a mistake but come on play rugby. Scotland in comparison looked great, kept the pressure on and didn't buckle, I thought the missed penalties would cost them but England didn't look like they new what to do with the ball. 1 point or 50 that's Scotland's first win at Twickenham for 37 years.

I'm just hoping it's not the same as last year with games not played so no winner, I'll be very surprised though if it goes without a hitch. Good for us sat at home but the lack of fans will still seem strange. I really thought they would postpone it.

@bruno22rf right then fella. The feeder in question has performed well, it was put up in June and I'd shot 20 squirrels up till September, since then it's only had 3 or 4 off it, since the leaves came off it seems very exposed and the food has been going down very slowly. It's a cracking spot on the edge of a large public wood, its easy to get to but out the way, nobody goes down where it is just straight past, but seeing the three squirrels further away the other day has made my mind up. I think I'll put a small feeder in its place and just pop some seed in occasionally, I'll still have to go past it, then I can move back in when the leaves come through. I haven't had my camera out there lately because it seems so open. There is a lot of wood to go at, it's just very steep with dog walkers all over the place, I've been meaning to have a good look around and find some more quiet spots, the intention was go up with the family and explore more but with all the restrictions and weather we've not got around to it. Certainly seemed strange the squirrels not coming to the easy food, so I'll take tge food to them and see how it goes. That's the plan away.

I do like the look of the US, as good as the others are they are a little long, haven't seen a 200 yet though, I keep half an eye out for the kids though. I'm still enjoying the R10 I won't lie, far more than the squirrels are 🤣🤣 ............ I popped out this afternoon, nearly 5pm when I arrived, I had put some nuts in my feeder at big wood, I expected them to have all gone, but some still in there, so that confirms it for me, I'll move that feeder somewhere else, hopefully get a nice stream of fresh squirrels. I spotted one skinny squirrel but it went and hid in a holly tree, that's just cheating.

Need a solid rifle, I don't want one that bends everytime you put it down 🤣🤣 I blow on them gently 😆😆
