  1. Watch tennis or F1 on BBC1/CH4 and then on BBC1-HD/CH4-HD and you will see the difference. On the HD channel you can see the strings on the net and the faces in the crowds ... the F1 cars look more vibrant and colourful and you will see the rubber crumb on the track a lot better. You will only really get the benefit of the audio if you have a good quality sound bar
  2. 720p refers to the fidelity/resolution of the picture. 720p is only just stereo, just below HiFi in audio terms and looks OK on a sub 21" Tv screen, phone or tablet. It's also refered to as SD (standard definition) and has a picture size of 1280x720 pixels (or dots). Next up is 1080p, heading towards High Definition with an improvement in the audio making it Full HD this looks good on Tv's up to 40" The top level up offers Ultra HD (4K) and HDR content and has 5.1 surround sound or Dolby Atmos. If you telly has 4K or HDR and you have a Dolby Atmos capable sound bar, the picture is stunningly good and even on a 72" Tv you can see the hair in the rabbits ears, listen to it breath and hear the crows behind you. Once you have seen/heard 4K and Atmos you can't go back, SD looks flat and sounds dull
  3. So who gave you the tray ? Was it the blind girl from #46 ? Or did your grandaughter not want it any more ?
  4. Tell me ... why can't people just put the chips on the plate these days ? Why do we need a galvanised mini dustbin (or bucket) ..
  5. In the top left of the screen there are 3 small bars ... In other browsers it is three dots ... Click on that and a menu opens .... Near the bottom is "ZOOM" ... click on the "+" and things get bigger.. Other browsers the ZOOM is near the top of the list ... Alternatively you can press the "SHIFT" and "ALT" keys together and whilst pressing these down tap the "+" or "-" keys to zoom in or out.
  6. If this hasn't sold i will take it.
  7. Yes it is safe. No they cannot 'plunder your account'. I will post my bank details on here, you can then send me £100 and I will let you keep any amount that you subsequently plunder/take out .. This is slight;y different as Ditchy gave said 'yoof' his card numder, expiry date, CSV code and his name and address. This allows any 'tea leaf' to make a non-secure payment (on-line or over the phone). Like @manthingI give my details out on an almost daily basis, all people can do is 'pay in'.... @samboyand @garjocould be lucky though, and after they have paid me £100 they could easily double or treble their money M. 8. A machete is not the weapon of choice for us here in the UK. Theye are rare here as the vegitation doesn't grow fiercely enough to warrant one in every home. In some countries that is very different and there, they are the used when walking into towm or across the fields, also in defence/attack situations and are the first thing you would grab when the situation arose. It's not machetes we need to ban its the people who would think to use them for anything other than weed control.
  9. "ss-gone" cream then jam never rebuilt, always 2 halves
  10. Very nice. Wish you were closer ... (i'm near Glasgow)
  11. Cheers ... I have mates not far from you. If it doesn't sell @60 PM me.
  12. Where near Chesterfield ? Bolsover ? Alfreton ? Pleasley ? Glapwell ? Sutton ?
  13. The standard mount, supplied with a PARD800SLRF should fit straight on your rifle. There are aftermarket units available, i've not had any issues with the standard mounts however I am not swapping the sight between rifles regularly. If you do, then I believe the Eaglevision, INNOmount or the Rusan QR are better.
  14. It makes you wonder how many high end shotguns are being sold these days. A gun of this quality for less than 1/2 retail. Whats up with that ?
  15. Top pic, right, bottom pic left ... that's clever
  16. No need, just put it back together and carry on.
  17. Excellent. Let me know.
  18. Interesting it's a poor-mans Nikko, which is a poor-mans Hawke/Bushnell, which is a poor-mans Meopta/Leupold, which is a poor-mans Vortex/Delta-Titanium, which is a poor-mans Zeiss/S&B which is a poor-mans Swarovski .... or put another way, it's at the bottom of the pile.
  19. Warwick/Leamington Spa ? Alfreton/Bolsover ? Glasgow ?
