Me & my friends used to make are own bangers with that stuff used to scrape it out of cap gun rings ( took us ages ) & then wrap it in masking tape with a wire wool fuse connected to a 9v -12volt fuse. Although one day I did make a fuse from cellotape with flash powder inside it straight to the banger. Worst thing I could of done still get ringing in my ears from time to time & the burn mark's on my hands to remember that one second fuse 😂 the things you do when you are young.

Cheshire shoots after a beater?
Stephen-H replied to Stephen-H's topic in Shooting/Ferreting/Beating Wanted
Thank you he is my pride & joy he just loves being out retrieving & training I got him as a pup from @WelshAndy on here he isnt fully grown yet (16 months) but he is a absolutely stunning dog & eager to work -
Hi everyone thought I would ask on here before I try the facebook groups anyone after a beater around Cheshire for what's left of the season.? I have a dog but he hasn't been on a shoot before I have been training him with the dummies & he has retrieved cold game but prefer to have him on a lead with me while beating rather then him on the picking line at the moment. Currently no 4x4 so ideally somewhere I can park up & jump in with someone or walk drive to drive. Cheers everyone

Ye some of those older idi injected diesel would run on any old oil etc I had my merc running on 80% veg 20%misfuel diesel/petrol mix or what ever scraps of diesel or petrol I could drain from other cars (used to work in a breakers yard) it would always start a couple good long pre heats on the glow plugs & it would always fire up fantastic cars the older merc diesel's.
-
100% I often have a look on Ebay for the older Mercs/Peugeots but they are getting few and far between now sadly! Cant beat a bit of crisp & dry motoring
-
Ye there is a few episodes it covers rabbit shooting, fishing for mackeral, deer stalking & foraging for mushrooms. It might not be for everyone & the food is a bit lardy dar & some heavy sponsor plugging but it's nice to see someone doing something similar to the first couple seasons of river cottage.

Final pay day for them & into retirement. Watched a interview with kell brook the other week sounded a bit punch drunk to me was never the same after the triple G fight . Khan gets a lot of stick but he has fought some of the best at the time. The press conference will probably be better then the fight.

What are the guns in question?? Perhaps someone on here might be interested in them & could make a donation to a charity of your friends choice?

Whilst scrolling through my YouTube feed the other day i stumbled upon this short series of Tims wild kitchen. Its Tim Maddams from river cottage doing a series of short videos of shooting, fishing, foraging & the cooking up the catch well worth a watch.
