That looks nice and will chop stuff down exactly as the first day it was used and if cared for will outlast all of us.

How far will the coyote be propelled out of the Canon. 😀 What is a Coyote Canon..? what does it do.?
-
I don't see that stated anywhere. My mistake I went back to look and it's just popped up down the side of the picture.
-
So what's the asking price for these.?

I've got a couple of pairs of wellies that various dogs have modified by chewing the tops so that the legs are angled down at the back. In a way it sort of takes the chaffe factor out of the back. Bloody dogs.it must be my fault for not putting them where the dogs can't get at them.

That's crazy. The barrel threads might be the same but the difference in volume is hell of a lot. that's the same sort of thing as saying you can swap wheels from your lorry onto your car. Ps. As above adding a silencer to a gun is more complicated than just screwing something on the barrel. There's overall length of the gun, balance, added weight and the most important thing is how it affects the harmony of the barrel and how it changes the point of impact of the group.

My rifle club has a WhatsApp group where competition results and general messages are placed and the other day there was a link to a government notice about this. The requirement to have silencers added to firearms certificates was a complete nonsense. This should have been challenged at the time. It is akin to having to have slings and butt plates on ticket. I had an feo who had a thing about silencers and when I asked for silencers on my application he tried to decline and said you've got ONE so you can put it on your different guns..? but I wrote to the department head and this nonsense was overruled. I think that someone had been watching too many gangster movies. It's a complete shambles. Ps. How was a silencers for a 22rf ever compatible for use on a 270.

How on earth did someone generate and promote such nonsense. When they advocated removing house doors and propping them against a wall as a shelter. And the family sitting , sheltering under them. How long would that last.? Ten minutes.? It was so misguided and was a complete disgrace to the intelligence of the general population. Where, how was anyone going to operate in such lunacy.... who had a screwdriver available to remove door hinges.? Lunacy. Dreams.

When I have watched that it comes over a bit hooray Henry. None of it seems to relate to any sort of shooting that I've ever been involved in. Still it takes all sorts. Another bloke that comes over as a bit of a clown is the ginger hairedfellow on country file. He's supposed to be a sportsman / farmer. There was a line shooting driven pheasant and matey strides out there and starts asking one of the guns a load of stupid pointed sort of anti type questions. If I had been the gun and owned the ground I would have told him in no uncertain terms to remove himself from the field immediately and told the keeper that I didn't want to see him on the land again. I think that kwis had the ginger round for drinks to discuss the next round of anti ideas.

Was that where there was some bloke Charlie in it.?

A bloke that I worked with had a sister who owned a Sorento because she wanted to tow a horse box. It just conked out whilst just driving it along. If left it would start up and run normally for a random distance a dthen suddenly stop running. The vehicle went through about 4 garages without anyone finding this random fault. It was off of the road for about 18 months in garages. Eventually a mechanic came one of the garages and he had worked for Mercedes. He said yep I've seen this before. He lifted the carpet to find a multi connector. A bit of WD and a few in and outs and the vehicle was ok. Bloody electrics. But it's all modern computer controlled cars. Totally unnecessary. Good vehicles going for scrap.

AnnnD; the nights are getting out rapidly. This afternoon I had to put a line of electric fence wire across fence to fence to help support the daffs because they are so tall that the wind was thrashing them about. The grass on the lawns is getting so, so long but it is so, so wet that if we get a few days of sunshine the grass will be a foot high. I'll have to get the Strmmer out with a long line and top the grass or even get the swap out and do a bit of manual labour or the long reach hedge cutter and use it like a finger mower.

We know a song about this... I've been everywhere, manCrossed the deserts bare, manI've breathed the mountain air, manOf travel I've had my share, manI've been everywhere. no.; I am mistaken. I haven't been everywhere.

It's pretty straight forward. combined battery compartment cap, On off switch at one end and a small lens in the other end cap. If someone can identify the beast it is a way forward. to learn identify and maybe fault find and repair. it is quite well made and formed. But before I dismantle it I am exercising a bit of caution. who sells these because I've never seen any for sale,,, but they are out there.
-
recently I obtained this in a job lot of stuff. I identified batteries but it doesn't perform. can anyone identify what it is and who sells them to see if it is repairable etc.

Remember how good a footballer he was. Gone off the rails. Imagine how much time and money it took to set that up, film it and produce it. Still the musicians got a wage out of it.??????

The thing that I see about this is that If you go from Churchill( and pay a search fee) ok they might inform you that the gun was made by XYZ in 1960 for a customer ...Mr Bloggs of Somewhere but this is a dead end. that person is probably now dead ..SO where do you go now. It is far better to track the gun from this end. you know where /who you bought it from so start there and go backwards. You could still start the other end and at least you might get a start point. The history is interesting but not essential . Just go shoot it and enjoy it.

unless you've had a bullock wandering through the kitchen or the kids have been standing on the open door , or the door has been thrown open. numerous times, It is a loose hinge joint or similar. Go to the door and with a hand on either side ,move the door back into it correct position. The door hinge has got to be loose to just flop over like that. By opening the door you will be able to see where that amount of play has come from. almost certainly something has come loose and just need a bit of attention and a tighten up. If you get someone in it will cost you a bomb,. or they'll just tell you that you need a new machine and that will cost you a bomb. Man up and fix it. We're on about our fourth machine over thirty years and they have all been heavily used when the kids were here and even now every other day, and none of them has had the door fall off or get loose. mostly the problems that we have had have been door ribbon cable go down, That's how many times the door has been opened or mechanical timer issues.

Tracing the history from 1960 is hard. It my well be that fred was a stocker and Bert formed actions but if There is no Information from Churchill, the trail goes cold straight away. A gun like this has a trail and it is expensive enough to have only through a few hands. You know where you got it from so ask them where/who they got it from. All dealers keep records of guns bought in and sold out. You might be lucky and it was bought by someone who died and it was sold by the wife or a son sold it on. I'm sure that previous owners would love to know that their husband or dad's gun was in good hand and being used again.

This was what I mentioned above.. Don't use chrome. Use Safari that is in the Mac. There are differences in the systems. Same but different. It's like buying a brand new car and deciding that you what to put two wheels off of a lorry on one side.! why.? you might be used to using chrome but don't . don't try putting curry into your corn flakes .. it instant compatible.
-
Write to Churchill. Someone will have the original specs and may give other data. You know where you got it from so track it backwards as well1 Ps. why a thread with the title Donald..? Someone's bound to ask where's your trousers. 🤣 or is it about Donald Trump.

You haven't got enough infrared illumination on those geese. If you get a decent illuminator and not a grannies path torch. A. You can see what's going on out there, and B. people can see that they can be seen and recorded. Deterrent factor.

We are very different. We Love it, love it, love it. All of it. From the time we leave home to leaving the car at my daughters, the taxi to the train station, getting the train tickets then on to the platform and waiting for the train. Then the experience of the train journey to Gatwick. The monorail, the crowds, the procedure of getting through the controls and baggage area. Waiting for the flight number and the flight lounge. Going through the tube tunnel to the plane and getting the seats. The moment that the engines flash start and the pushback. When the turbines start to spool up, your going on holiday now. The waiting for clearance and the sudden roar and the acceleration until the plane is away and airborne. The first stage of the holiday has begun. It's all part of it. The variation of people and the state of some. Happy, frightened noisy, introverted. It's âll part of the life experience. They're all living their life in coexistence. If you go on flight tracker the sky is like an ants nest of planes in the sky. They recon that there are over a million people in the air at any one time.
