rsrjerry
Got a phone call today from some local forestry lads , been felling trees and noticed a drey once one of the trees was on the ground .. on investigation could see some red squirrel kittens .. My other half went to collect them and we now have the task of trying to hand rear them .. we have hand reared quite a few red squirrel kittens over the past few years but have never had any this young would guess 2-3 weeks old .. well they have had 3 x feeds each of lactol so far and are keen to take the lactol so at least we are getting some food in them which is a good thing .we can only try our best and see what pans out ..
