I just don't get it.

Why do you want to make a video like that?

Shooting is something that you do - not watch someone else plinking doves off a fence.

Where is the skill in it? (Ten green bottles comes to mind!)

If it is vermin control then you just get on and do it - Not film it.

Bit like filming rat traps or bait trays!

true but all the land over the back is also my shoot and all open and so safe ;) i always make sure of that guys

No matter who`s shoot it is, you can`t tell if there is someone walking 50 yds behind a building/shed/waddever that you are shooting towards.

Due to the fact you're pellets are landing on someone else land, I think you'll find that this activity was done quiet illegally. what do you expect?

I think he may of said that he has permission on the said land, i expect Ryan666 knows the land well and has thought the backstop issue through.

Right or wrong he is the one taking the shoots and without viewing the land difficult to make a you cant do that judgement.

personally its not impressive at all, dodgy shooting, shooting through fences from what looked like a public car park at one point its hard to see why its an example of how to do anything. The fact THL was mentioned says it all to me

Al4x,

As it's been evident before you are a snob. Shooting is shooting, this guy is sharing his day, that's all.

With all the summer shooting being reported on this site and the congratulations for shooting milky does and lactating vixens you can't complain about THL.

I guess you will come back saying it's pest control, it's not, summer shooting is for people that can't get the job done in winter and because they don't like getting cold.

Anyway I will let you and your cronies gang up on him and shoot him down on the back of a video of a place you haven't visited and are only making assumptions about.

As for videoing it I hope none of you guys buy country pursuits DVDs.

If you want to slag this forum off, at least do it subtly.

I wouldn't worry Billy I think he has the idea . Its odd but having a backdrop is fine if you can see it but shooting over a hedge into the unknown is iffy, round us walkers rarely stick to paths and even so you aren't generally allowed to shoot them ;)

In fairness, if someone says that they are shooting in a safe manner and are aware what is behind the shot, then surely you should take their word for that.

Only someone who personally knows the area in question could query the OP's safety assessment.

He also appears to be a professional pest controller and that has to count for something.

Exactly what I was saying. Easy to criticise from an armchair. :good:

If you want to join the playground then you would realise Al4x still the slagging off first.
