Kes
Lots of atheletes are superstitious - carrying out particular routines or carrying a lucky talisman. I have a favourite hat, I knew a chap who reckoned his hat ( very bright check) was a bird 'magnet'. Anyone have any unusual routines or things that keep them lucky

foxbuster
I try not to walk under ladders and i used to have a certain routine before I get on my motorbike..... And I won't shoot black rabbits! I always have a 'little chat' to my bike before going out on her, might sound daft (perhaps is) but its something i've always done and will continue to do. Woodcock Magnet
the only ritual I do for good luck on a shooting day is look down the barrels, before I stick the shells in the chambers, safety, safety, safety.

gixer1
I am also a biker and i always put my ignition key in with the keyring fob facing foward. I used to always put my gloves on and rub them down a wall to roughen the leather a bit...then I got a new pair of roo skin gloves and did the usual and wrecked them on a harled wall in 10 seconds .... I also like my key ring facing down from the ignition barrel... Edited September 18, 2011 by gixer1
phaedra1106
Call me superstitious but ..... whenever I load my pistol or rifles I always put the ammo in pointy end forwards and make sure I've got the blunt end of the gun towards me when firing, it's worked pretty well so far
escortmagnum999
when i played rugby i had a routine for getting changed and ready for a game, i always had the same breakfast, and always had a dump ten mins before kick off! i dont like the number 13 and always salute magpies. my mother is over the top with that sort of thing, no putting brollies up inside the house, no new shoes on the table etc......
