bazzab
Hi all being a true town lad. Most of my life i have never really eaten anything "unusual" Since starting shooting and really learning to appreciate the countryside i have had the chance to try many different meats (pigeon last week thanks to Colin lad). Had a chat with my mate today he was surprised what people eat. (bless him) when i told him i have eaten termites straight from there nest live he was nearly sick!!! So what's strangest thing you have eaten? Look forward to weird and wonderful things!! Bazza :)
oscarsdad
Chicken hearts which are a delicacy in brazil...they are horrible and crunchy. God knows what they do with the rest of the chicken as you never see them. Since then I have tried rabbit heart (horrible) and hare heart (quite nice) just to see what they were like. Alligator is horrible as well.

Fisherman Mike
I ate the side of my own mouth once when I came out of the dentist after an extraction. Bit off a piece of my cheek the size of a custard cream and had to have 18 stitches in the wound.....tasted like chicken
SAVAGE HMR
Scorpions, locusts, crickets, kangaroo, emu, crocodile, various grubs, snake, shark and squid are the ones that spring to mind. Spent a while traveling round Australia and Thailand and wanted to do as much weird stuff as I could. Ate some human skin too. It was my own though so it probably doesnt count. ack-ack
Downed as pint that was full of cat food during freshers week. The inevitable hangover from the other cocktails made for a particularly unpleasant hangover.

Muddy Funker
Our hens get dried mealworms as a treat. They go mental for them and they do look quite tasty. I had a small handful and they were very nice, quite nutty

I also eat a lot of danish herring....not rollmops which are full raw fillets in various marinades......blokes on my shift think i'm a seal when I down those. Also had a chunk of porpoise....it came up drowned in the net so waste not want not.....it was vile...Dogs liked it though.
