working dog
A black Lancia Delta. It had flimsy controls, soggy seats, spent as much time in the garage as on the road, would decide to under steer and then over steer. Hang on, I hated that car. Looking on autotrader someone still has the misfortune of driving G404 LAK. My favourite car was my green and rust Mk 1 Escort. It took up most of my money and gave me countless days repairing the rotten floor. That said, it got me to college a lot quicker than the previous three bus journeys and gave me more freedom. Sold it after a drunken conversation in a pub to a lad down the street. He then stoved the front end in and wrote it off.

Big Mat
My favorite is the only car i've ever had. My Series 3 Land Rover, long wheel base 2.25 diesel. It costs me mosts of my money to run but its incredibly useful and i just like driving it
silver pigeon 3
I have a couple of very close favourites for different reasons. 1. Mitsubishi starion wide arch turbo, brute of a car 2.6 upgraded twin garrett turbos and a few other mods, rear wheel drive through a LSD. On a rolling road was putting out 240 BHP at the back wheels. Loads of turbo lag, but real old school fun. Had it when i met my Mrs and she hated it so got rid. 2. BMW E36 M3 4 door saloon. 3.2 Evo version loads of engine mods, fantastic car which was putting out 390 BHP, again rear wheel drive. loads of fun and reasonably sensible. Loved this car and kept it for about 4 years (which is a long time for me) but had my head turned by an Audi A4 2.8 Quattro and chopped it in. Worst mistake i have ever made with a car, the Audi wasn't a patch on the BMW.
ack-ack
I miss my Millenium Falcon. It was an F plate Audi 90 in white. A proper cruiser with oodles of top end. After 5 years (and 120k miles) without a spanner being laid on it (other than 6 monthlys) I stuck it in the back of a bus in Streatham whilst having a sneezing fit. Gutted. the enigma
I parted company last summer with my beloved '95 Peugeot 306 XLDT. I'd bought her as a damaged repairable in '99,and got her fixed up. Miami Blue,5 spoke TSW alloys and bodykit....and surprisingly quick. Man,I thought I was some pup the first Sunday night I rolled in Portstewart in her. B) By the time I sold her, there was just short of 200k on the clock.Definitely my favourite, now driving a sensible Trooper. :(
ayano3
My lovely Astra VXR was my pride and joy. I got a promotion at work and got a company car so the Vixer was surplus to requirement as the wife didnt like the Remus Exhaust system and only potters around town. It was 250bhp 2.0 Turbo, I had the 255x 35 19" wheels put on and it absolutely flew. The sport button turned it into a beast. One day though I will get dream car VXR8. I did have a mini cooper 997 when I was a real boy racer, loved that car too. The picture was taken as we passed over the Northumbria Nation Park, wonderful views up there. spanj
After the recent thread 'what do you drive' it got me thinking about some of the cars I've owned over the years, so I was wondering what cars people have owned that have been their favourite, This doesn't mean best name to drop to show off or boast. I mean the car that you have had the most pleasure from driving. To start off I will put mine up as a fiesta RS turbo running 200bhp I owned when I was 18, shocking reliability but when it was on song it was a monster to drive, no power steering, massive turbo(fantastic sound) plus when we were growing up it was regarded as the muts nuts (sad I know but we were kids) So what's your favourite motor you've owned and why ? My old integrale evo ............ best car bar none !!!

GW80
Without doubt my favourite car was my 205 GTI, best fun and driving car ever and i was 20 when i had it. Also had a Renault 5 Turbo which to be honest scared the **** clean out of more times than i enjoyed driving it. Also had an imprezza (not impressed) and a celica which was lovely but expensive to drive. Now i drive a van and an old beat up estate, but hey i still have my memories!!
