mickmep
Hi I noticed you have had the beretta gold e AND the Bowning cynergy black ice could you tell me how they compare? As I have the gold e but have a 'want' for the black ice. Cheers Tom hi Tom never really got on with the gold e, used to shoot semi autos and was talked into buying one. like you i fancied a black ice when i first saw one, and a cheapish good condition one came up for sale. i would say give one a try before buying, the stock and forend are very slim, more like a semi auto, very similar to the sx3 in my opinion. i have a 30" barrel one, my shooting mate has a 28" one and you can feel the difference in barrel weight between them, i would expect the 32" to appear very barrel heavy. the diamiond chokes are very expensive, i'm using mine with 'standard' extended briley light mod chokes which seem to be doing the job. plenty of adjustment in the cynergy stock though, all out the box, which is a plus for it. i like the black ice, but i honestly would say the beretta is a nicer gun, although theyre a bit more expensive so should be really. lots of people comment that the plastic doesnt last but i think thats a bit of an old wives tale, no problems with mine or my mates.
