nick_c
Hello, I am on the look for a second gun for field work, after an over and under, 12g and max price of £500, though £400 would be better. Obviuosly second hand, multi choke prefered. Make and model recommendations would be most welcome. I have looked on guntrader, lots of choice, but if you could help narrow it down that would help. Cheer's, Nick.

moor man
Hi Nick, bought a mint Bettinsoli diamond 30", saw it on guntrader, not too far away, made an offer, mine for £415....result. Lanber, Rizzini, Lincoln, all worth considering, cash is king, dont be afraid to politely make an offer. Your clay gun will kill rabbits and pigeons well as you are already used to it? You dont say what your going to be shooting, a 28"barrel is better in a hide, 30" more pointable, good luck and let us know how you get on, cheers from sunny devon. Cosd
I had a Browning Medalist which fits the criteria set above, lovely gun, very reliable and a pleasure to shoot. Quite a few to choose from in that price bracket,Bettinsolli, Baikal, Lanber, Rizzini etc, get your self down to a stockist and see which one feels right for you. If you get a chance to shoot any of them, even better. Let us know how you get on.

welshwarrior
If I where you I would look at a Lanber or browning medalist (FIAS) for that money. I don't like the betensoli personnaly as I have seen 2 that had a habbit of double discharging. Never seen a hatstand ou so can't comment
