Teal
The Pigeon Watch Charity Shoot is THIS Saturday – 2nd June! Pigeon Watch Charity Shoot 2012 – At Orston Shooting Ground The NvS Charity Shoot has raced up again this year, and we are now a few days from discovering whether the Northerners or the Southerners will claim the 2012 title! Details Orston Shooting Ground ground will open at 8am, and people can arrive from then onwards. For the most part we would recommend that people aim for around 8.45am, as this is when the bacon rolls should appear! We will put all the raffle prizes on table in main room, and you will have a chance to buy raffle tickets before the shoot starts, there will also be tea available. For those interested pool shoots will be available from 9am onwards, so if you want to shoot these please bring extra money. We will all gather at approximately 9.45 outside ready to get into squads, and to move off and start shooting. After the shoot the scores will be totalled up, and we will reveal the winner of the 3rd North v South Competition, and also the High Gun, and the winning Squad! We will then start the raffle, with excellent prizes on offer which can be seen here: http://wherestheclayground.at/pwcharityshoot/raffle2012.php Squads There are 62 shooters confirmed for the day, which means that we will have 10 squads. The squads have now been drafted up, and you can visit this page to see who your team mates are: http://wherestheclayground.at/pwcharityshoot/squads2012.php Props to Petethegeek, once again for making an excellent website this year. Not that I will hit anything of course, just want to prepare myself mentally The registered shoots held there are regarded as "tougher than average", but I don't know what they'll put on for a charity shoot, grounds often make them easier. They have the full range of targets, including one or two rangey or fast ones. The main thing about Orston targets (in registered shoots) is that they are often not what they seem. They often look quite straightforward, but aren't. I would say their registered shoots are some of the better ones around Edited May 28, 2012 by Chard

Chard
Did you actually write that out loud :o Essex Mafia tradition. If you blank a stand, you have to shoot the rest of the course with your winkie out
Iggy
OK, fair enough. I might as well just shoot in the nudie then
petethegeek
Essex Mafia tradition. If you blank a stand, you have to shoot the rest of the course with your winkie out This tradition has generally been discouraged at the annual charity shoots - see point four under dress etiquette here - as it was felt that it encourages certain PW members[sic] to actively underscore in order to have an unofficial sanction to expose their bits. ME
Yep widley recognised as a different way to get it "browned", developed in Billericay allegedly :hmm: They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Take a look at Poontangs face in this one from last year. That is some power you have there Bazza. (If peeing off people to the point of depression counts as a power.)
