Got a call from a farmer asking if i was free to shoot 1 of his rape fields which has been flatterned by the wind and rain .

Arrrived and could see his problem the field was flat well and truely . i also new that when it started to ripen it will give me some great shooting so i had a go just anhour and had some good sport

Ended with 30 picked and 3 lost and 1 happy farmer :good:

Well done Tom, I've not seen any on Rape yet but that was good shooting with a happy farmer

Yes, perhaps this sums it up, a comment from probably the most proficient pigeon shooter that this forum has ever seen..??

I've also not seen any birds on "flattened rape", in fact I'm not sure that at this time of year, when they are pre-occupied with Barley, they will touch the rape, which is generally about 6 feet tall..??

It's a pity that Tom appears to be inventing these latest bags, what's going on here..? :hmm:

Cat.
