pigeon controller
I had a call this morning to go and try and thin out some more corvids, set the decoys next to a small spinney and waited. In the first hour two came and paid the price, considered moving but noticed a combine started working two fields away and this lifted a flock of crows and jackdaws from then on they kept coming. The pigeons came over the spinney nice and high and they were to good the let pass.I met the farmer in the yard as I left and he said he had been watching me with his binoculars its agood job that I didnot increase the tally of 98 crows and jackdaws and 18 pigeon. For those who are interested in the figures I shot from 12.00 to 17.00 and used 150 shells.
