We all have our era..but for me the 70,s was just a wonderfull decade for the development of Music. Weve had a Barby this afternoon and I had my old LP,s out and couldnt help sharing my top Guitarist from that era...

Please no " Page would have buried him or so and so was better by far..." its not a competition those of us who grew as teenagers in that era just enjoy a truly brilliant Guitarists doing what he does wonderfully well....

God dammit....That's twice I'm going to have to agree with you today.

You have to admit old Carlos knocks spots of the arm wheeling (never) has been though? ;)

Carlos isn't bad, but he isn't Jimmy Page.

Not fit to lace Ernie Isley's boots.

Hmm Isley did his best work in the 80,s and that was an era when many British kids suffered from falling education standards ...many of them left school without even being able to read... :P:lol:

Good god, the old Kursall. My old stamping ground. Southend seafront, what a place. Get drunk and laid inside 50 yds. Not that I did of course, I'm not that sort of guy. Spent my formative years in Southend in the 60's and 70's. That was a time when you didn't have discos, it was all live bands, The Beatles at the Odeon, twice. First time as a support for Roy Orbison and the second time we had to queue up for 24 hrs to get tickets. The good old days, where are they now.

i loved the 70 ,s one of my old time great bands is jethro tull still go and see him although not as good as he were in the 70,s

Ian Anderson used to live quite close to me in Wiltshire a few years back, used to see him in the local, even cajoled him into our pub quiz team one evening.

The Seventies had it all, Soul, Northern Soul, Heavy Rock, Folk, Folk Rock, Jazz, Jazz Funk, Prog Rock, Glam Rock, Chewing Gum, Disco, Country & Western, Rap, & Punk,

Ladies and Gentlemen I give you the one the only Child of the Seventies......anyone who doesnt enjoy this is either deaf or brain dead...
