grimey121uk Posted December 2, 2012 Report Share Posted December 2, 2012 Hi all, I've been reading the forum for the past 3 months or so and decided that its time to join, I'm from 26yr old Bolton, have had my shogun cert for the past 3 months and exclusively shoot clays although I do fancy shooting a few pigeons but I don't really have access to any land. In September I bought a new Hatsan Escort Magnum (12ga) which has been a great gun albeit a bit clunky however yesterday the mrs treated me (give me permission) to a new Winchester SX3 (12ga / 3.5") which is absolutely fantastic. I took the SX3 out to bust a few clays today and its fantastic although I think I need to adjust a bit as I did struggle to hit a few but no doubt I will get used to it after a bit more practice. Another thing about the SX3 is how simple it is to break down and clean. I go clay busting at Manchester Clay Shooting Club most weeks with the Mrs, who is also a certificate holder.
